On tap at the Kedzie brewery, served in a 5 oz. glass.

Lots of lacing, arcs and dripping halos galore. Almost better than Old Milwaukee according to Takesomeadvice. Crystalline gold.

Huge coriander aroma, discernible orange, yeast throws off a fruity pebbles vibe.

Spicy and dry, some tart citrus fruit and pith, big coriander again. Medium bodied, maybe a shade to heavy, but most imperial wits play out that way. Very flavorful and a fun amped up twist on the classic Bottom Up wit if you dig the original.

On-tap at the brewpub. Served in a 5oz taster glass.

A - White foam settles to a thin collar and spotty lace. Hazed unfiltered orange body.

S - Tangerines, coriander, vanilla, light Belgian yeast and unmalted grain, and perhaps a thin of alcohol to it. Quite nice, and while it certainly seems a bit bigger than your standard witbier I'd never guess it was 9.3%.

T - The taste has more overt Belgian character, with spicy yeast, bread, wheat, and such. The coriander and citrus flavors are still present but further in the periphery. Alcohol is completely masked here - quite impressive.

M - Chewy, medium-full body, zesty carbonation, and a bit of warming after the entire 5oz glass.

D - This was quite good, with a nice balance of Belgian yeast character, wheat, and adjuncts. A very convenient and tasty way to get drunk quickly. I'll happily drink this again if it's still on-tap next time I'm at the brewpub or tap room.

Served at the 3rd year crazy party. This was described to me as an imperial wit.

Moby the great white ale

A: cloudy orange white head, plenty of lacing 3.75

S: heavy clove, coriander and orange peel present, pulp, sweetness present 3.5

T: sweet oranges, citrus tartness, syrup, sweet, full flavored, almost cloying 3.25

Mf: thick, mild to high carb 3,5

O: meh, tastes like a white ale with heavy sweetness, not my favorite 3.0

Serving type: on-tap
