Our rye IPA is clean and refreshing, brewed with 2-row malt and flaked rye for toasty, nutty undertones up front, but with a huge hop flavor and aroma from the Amarillo and Fuggle hops.

Served in a Lagunitas mason jar.
I know when I think "TV party", I think "rye IPA". Who doesn't? Anyway, this stuff pours a clear brass topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises grapefruit peel, mandarin orange syrup, sweet honey, and a good bristling of pine needles. The taste emphasizes the honey and a Johnny-come-lately helping of sweet caramel, though the rear is brought up by pine sap, grass, and a touch of menthol-ish mint. The body is a light-leaning medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a drying finish. Overall, a generally solid rye IPA, but one that's strangely unbalanced (kinda teeter-totter-like) and a bit too heavy for its own good, not to mention lacking much of a rye character. Still, it's drinkable enough. So, yeah, it's good, but I'm likely to pass on it if a next time arises.

The TV Party was a good beer.....probably not as good as some of the other Revolution gems....but definitely good and worth the try. The beer poured a nice amber with white head that laced. The scent was pine and citrus. The taste followed the scent and came off the pallet clean. There was enough sweet malt to balance the bitterness making it very easy to drink. The mouthfeel was fuller in body with good carbonation. Overall it was quite tasty.
