Almost fully opaque, sandy dark amber with a very large, overly active foam head that settles ever so slowly to an uneven blanket leaving thick lumps of spongy lace all over the glass.
Smell is apple, pear and light phenolic clove-like spice with hints of astringent hops, bread dough and caramel cubes.
Taste too brings the apple-pear combo, almost like softened apple pie without the cinnamon, but with an unfinished crust and a touch of clove and sweet corn.
Body is medium-light with crisp carbonation and a semi-dry finish.

Pours an orange tinged hazy golden color. Thin white head dissipates leaving little lacing.
Smell has aromas of lemon, orange zest, biscuit malt, straw, and slight ester notes.
Taste follows the nose with notes of lemon, orange zest, a nice biscuit malt background. Undertones of straw, pepper, and clove peak through.
Feel is light, crisp and refreshing.
Overall a very nice albeit not outstanding saison. Solid choice anytime you want a saison.

Lemon-orange color. Weakish head with little lacing. Yeasty, funky, lemon, citric aroma. Flavor follows with a delicate, bready malt backbone and plenty of citrus and yeast funk. Medium body with a grainy, yeasty texture. Somewhat weak carbonation. Pretty good overall.

Pours a nice golden color with a decent sized off white head.
Kind of a grassy and floral smell. There is a bit of lemon in there as well. Basically a fairly earthy and outdoors type of smell.
Sweet and fruity at first. Bit of apricot and pear notes, finishing with some lingering hop bitterness.
Fairly good feel going down, bit high on the carbonation.
A fairly decent example of the style, although not the best i have tried. It does tend towards the sweet side, but I would have liked a bit more complexity. The hops do keep things in check and from getting too sweet. Definitely worth trying, but there are better examples of the style out there.
