Clear, light golden-yellow color with lots of large bubbles of carbonation. White, light head that faded away to nothing after a while.
Aroma is lightly sweet and yeasty with a bit of noble hops.
Taste is pretty good. Malty and light with some lager yeast flavors and a touch of hops flavor towards the end. Finish is clean and nice.
Mouthfeel is light, fairly thin, smooth and refreshing. One of the better light pilsner styles I've had.

Maharaja Premium India Pilsner has a medium, foamy head, a clear, yellow-golden appearance, some bubble steams, and a bit of lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweet, full, and pungent barley malt, biscuit, grass, and bread dough. Taste is of bready malt, charcoal, grass, sourness, a bit of green apple, and a faint hop bitterness at the end. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Maharaja Premium India Pilsner finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and mild. Overall, this is a good beer, and it’s worth a try.

I found this brew pretty thin and overall rather bland. Like the rest of brews from India, this one was rather sweet. It is definitely something I could easily drink on a hot day though. Would be curious to try a more robust version with a lot of depth if it ever came out.

Bottled 8/2011.
Pours a crystal clear yellow with a fizzy tan head that settles to wisps of lace on top of the beer. Tiny dots of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, honey, and some grass and hay aromas. There is a slight skunky aroma that is present too. Taste is of malt, grain, honey, and some grape juice flavors. There is a mild bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty average beer that is drinkable and not as bad as I thought it was going to be.

Poured from about an inch above the glass gave this clear straw golden colored beer a white head about an inch high.
The small white head quickly die to a thinning lacing.
Sour citrus and yeast like aroma with lemon being the most prominent.
Dryish light sour citrus with a lemon peel and corn syrup likeness being more so in the forefront of the taste.
A light dry aftertaste that holds some of the sourness of the taste.
I think I'll have to pass on any more of these, just really nothing there that I like about beer, except maybe the alcohol content.

A: Pours a crystal clear pale golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a half finger tall fizzy white head that reduces to a patch of extremely thin film and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light to moderate aromas of musty malts, corn adjunct malts, and some stronger notes of apple/apple cider. There is also a strange hint of wax/paraffin.
T: Flavors of pale malts, corn adjunct malts, and some lighter notes of apple. Not too sweet but there is very little bitterness in the taste either.
M: Light bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation. Crisp.
O: Refreshing and easy to drink - you can see how this beer would be popular with the hot climate in India and the spicy cuisine). Sessionable with good balance in the flavor.

A: The beer is clear golden yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high white head that died down but consistently left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface.
S: There are light aromas of apples in the nose along with some musty hints of corn.
T: The taste is very similar to the smell, except that it has a little less apples and a little more adjunct malts.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The beer is easy to drink but lacks the malty aromas and smells of a true pilsener.

Appearance: Murky gold in color with no head or lacing.
Smell: Mostly molasses. Not noticing much else beyond the molasses.
Taste: Very sweet molasses but rather light in flavor overall. Strange sort of dusty flavor.
Mouthfeel: Light body and light carbonation.
Overall: Could have just been an old bottle but I can't say that I enjoyed this beer.

A: Pale straw color, with very little head and no appreciable lacing.
S: Mild grassy malt, with faint citrus.
T: Sweet and grassy malt, but it tastes watered down. Medium hops bitterness.
M: Average carbonation, no alcohol burn. Semi-crisp, but not enough.
O: Pilsners are rarely heavy on flavor, but this one frankly tasted watered down. It wasn't terrible, but I found myself drinking it only to wash down food, certainly not for taste. Nothing there to bring me back for more.

Batch No 203 US
A: Very slightly cloudy yellow. A small bit of wafty thin head that sticks to the side of the glass in thick foamy walls.
S: Cardboard, corn, raisins - all with sweet undertones.
T: Sour, malt, bitter throat. Not much else. It's just a little thin and dirty tasting. I can't say I'm much of a fan.
M: Sudsy, wet, thin.
O: Quite unpleasant overall. I think I would rather grab a Kingfisher.

Golden in color. Head was gone before I even put the bottle opener away. Smell is cereal grain with no real hop presence. I was surprised by the freshness, considering how long it sat in my house before I decided to drink it (a perfect example of the benefits of using brown bottles). Not at all over the top sweet, but about as balanced as you can get for an adjunct pilsener. Carbonation is adequate. I classify this in my personal sub-category of "lawn mowing pilsener" - albeit a good LMP (as opposed to what I call an "old world pilsener"). I could see this being great for washing down a plate of samosas. I wouldn't turn one of these down.

11-oz bottle into weizen glass
A - 1 finger of quickly-fading head over a clear yellow body; lots of carbonation
S - corn; grassy/spicy hops
T - corn and grass with a spicy twang; bitter finish; not very good
M - light/medium-bodied with high carbonation; the highlight of this brew
O - If you find yourself staring at a shelf of beer in the liquor store and, like me, you think to yourself, "I've never had an import from India--maybe I'll give this a try," learn from my mistake and save your $2 for something more palatable.

A: 11 oz bottle. litle head faded quickly, high carbonation can actually hear it as poured, looked like apple cider with fizz
S: smelled of corn and malt, slightly fruity as well.
T/M: very smooth, refreshing feel and taste
D: not bad, no alcohol taste, but a strong mildly sweet aftertaste
