12-oz to tulip. 2 months old.

A - Crystal clear medium gold. Decent white head that lasts a few minutes. Minor lacing.

S - Initially upon pouring I swore I smelled skunk. That was gone quickly and replaced by something nice and tropical fruity with a bit of sweet malt with something savory or vegetal behind it, something that smells like dinner, which isn't quite what I want to smell.

T - Barely-there hop bitterness. I'm having trouble pulling out any specific flavors other than a tiny hint of that dinner note from the aroma. It tastes fine but I'm not sure what that taste is.

M - Not quite dry, but ends up there. A bit of a tart feel inside the lips afterwards.

O - This lacked definition and sufficient flavor for me. Something about it is good, and I'd be happy enough to drink it across a session and not think about it, but it isn't memorable enough to make me want to buy it again. I had heard such good things.

Lagunitas IPA is in my opinion one of the most balanced ipas out there. Really tasty.
It has a nice appearance, smell, and taste. Very drinkable and at an affordable price, you can't beat it! This was my first beer from lagunitas and certainly not the last one.
