Growler scored at Staples Corner Liquor Store, thanks Jack. Poured golden, clear into my tumbler with a 1-finger "whipped creamy" head. Looks yummy. Smell was floral hoppiness, with a big nose of fruity esters, aroma notes of pear, persimmon, new cut hay... and a pervasive sweetness that hides something.

Taste is big with bitter and sweetness together on the palate, also some musty tones sneak and linger around the edge, with a slightly sour funk that gives it great complexity. Mouthfeel is rich, sticky, full-bodied. Alcohol is well covered, but this is some warmness.

Overall, this is a great brew, highly drinkable, really delicious, but the ABV does come to get you.
