A: Poured from a bottle to a tulip glass. Had an orangey color and a mostly clear consistency. There was an inch of foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.
S: A big, sweet aroma of hops, yeast, and lighter fruits.
T: Tasted of hops, some citrus, Belgian yeast, and spices. Never had a BSPA like this, where the hops totally dominate the flavor. Almost closer in character to a double IPA. Very vibrant and tasty.
M: A lot of carbonation with a somewhat slick finish. Medium-bodied.
D: An unusual take on the style, to be sure. Very drinkable, though.
