Easily managed head is sticky and coats the glass with every pull. Slightly clouded copper body with medium carbonation.

Whoa first pull is a 5.0 on the Taste scale. I'll have to investigate further to see if the first impression will stand. Amazingly this brew remains somewhat balanced by DIPA standards. The hop profile is absolutely flawless. Not too bitter and plenty of citrus. The beer cleans up nicely and doesn't leave behind much resinous hop destruction. I loved it.

This ranks up there with the best DIPA's ever. It won't blow away those that want complete hop destruction but it still packs a huge punch. Once again the crew at Lagunitas knocks it out of the park and still manages to keep their prices within reason. Thank you!!

A - Marigold brew with a nice three finger head of white foam. Lots of lace. The color is great... deep burnished gold with tiny bubbles streaming through it.

S - Big time citrus and tropical fruit. Bready underneath.

T - This is a massive beer on the palate. Enormous hop presence with kiwi, grapefruit, and nectarine over a tight malt base that reminds me of Gran's Biscuits.

M - This is a BIG beer. The super pungent fruity hops over the muscular but well built malt base makes for punch-in-the-mouth brew. Finishes off-dry with lingering notes of orange rind and grapefruit.

Awesome beer. Went well with my t-day turkey and stuffin'

Poured from bottle into large frosty mug.

A...hazy, amber color with creamy white, the finger head.

S... Great smell.lots of citrus on the nose. Very crisp, floral bouquet.
T...nicely done. Hop forward with some pine in there to. Surprisingly different than the nose has you expect.

M...this would be the only lacking part of this beer. I really like it but, there is something left to be desired in the body. Can't put my finger on it.

O... Very enjoyable. I will absolutely be buying this again. Everything I like in an ipa with an overall refreshing body. Heavy hitter in the abv but, so easy to drink that you would need to be a little careful. Highly recommend.
