A-Poured into a pint glass. Appears a light copper with minimal head. Some lacing that doesn't last long.
S-Hoppy with some greatfruit
T-Citrus up front. Tastes alot like it smells; greatfruit. Not getting much on the back end of this one. Good refreshing brew
M-Good carbonation all the way through.
D-I could easily drink a few of these

22 ounce bottle, lets hope for the best with this old bottle. Pours cloudy orange amber color with a fairly dense 2 finger off white head with great retention that reduces to a fairly thick lacing cap. Some lacing sticks to the glass as you drink as well. Aromas of caramel, bread, pine, grapefruit, orange zest, and a bit of spiciness. Interesting IPA aromas, but nice stuff. Taste of big grapefruit, caramel, pine, orange zest, and a bit of breadiness. Big sweetness in the front followed by a decent amount of bitterness on the finish that lingers with pine and citrus flavors. A bit more malt forward on this one as expected from the age of the bottle. Medium carbonation and body; with nice smooth drinkability that goes down easily. No alcohol in the taste or finish. Overall a very nice IPA from Lagunitas, even if it was old.

interesting beer i have to say. pours out a reddish amber with hints of golden color around the sides, not at all what i thought was going to come out here. nice head of off white lacing clings to the sides for the entire sessiom
nice light hops and well balanced malt aroma, lots of depth and balance here. piney hops, are quick hitting but fleating as they fade off and you are left with a nice mid palate flavor that is bready grains and soft buttery notes. dry finish leads to a simply wonderfully light profile that makes you come back for more.
overall an odd one, but it seems to work.

22 oz into a snifter...big red beer...is this an IPA? I guess it's hoppy enough to be one, but is more like a hoppy amber ale. Pretty solid though, I do like it. Probably won't buy too often, big reds aren't my favorite style but I'd recommend trying it once or twice. Good value too, chug was under $4.

This is still on the shelves in Dallas, but I am not sure how old it is. Since Lagunitas doesn't date their bottles with a bottling date or a best by date (at least this one is not dated), I am going to assume they don't care if people drink old IPAs from them and rate accordingly.
The beer pours a hazy tannish-orange color with a white head. The aroma is caramel malt, with a lot of sugar and orange marmalade notes. I also get some biscuit malt.
The flavor is very sweet and boozy. I get some orange and caramel, but also some brown sugar and a little bit of pine from the hops. Low bitterness, and a lot more alcohol than I expected for a beer that is just more than 6 percent.
Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Reviewed from notes.
Pours a nice golden color with a white head. The nose is nice with a good bit of orange, grapefruit, and a hint of pine. The taste is nicely hoppy with a good amount of citrus. Good, nice amount of bitterness and a fairly-light body. Drinkability is pretty good, but this one didn't really keep me coming back for more.

Bomber poured into Nonic pint glass
Dull Hazy orange color, white head quickly dissipated. Aroma had grapefruit and spicy hops. Taste was citrus and piney hops, malt is bready. Being from the South, I enjoy a west coast IPA. Mouthfeel was medium and drinkability was great. Could def drink another a bomber...great beer.
