This ale poured a nice light mahogany color which looked very much like a coke without ice. The head was a nice fluffy two fingers of caramel colored head. The foam was very fine bubbled and it left excellent lacing.

The aroma was of sweet malt and spice.

The flavor reminded me of caramel corn, oak, vernors ginger ale and ice wine esters.

The mouthfeel was rich and thick on your tongue.

Drinkability was slightly better than average which was good for such a full flavored beer.
