Poured into a Sam Adams glass.

Pours a pretty burnt orange color. Very clear, with minimal head or lacing.

The aroma is quite floral, almost like a greenhouse in the spring. There's a bit of sweet and spicy as well, which add nice nuance.

The flavor is big and suprisingly complex. There's a nice hop bite, but the malts reflect the sweet and spiciness of the aroma. The finish is sweet, yet coats the palate in dry, hoppy goodness.

There's a couple of different feels to this brew. The primary one is bold, sweet, and sticky, yet it finishes a bit dry.

This is a nice, drinkable red ale. It's more hop forward, less boozy, and milder than I like my strong ales, so it seems like this may be a bit misclassified. Oh well, it's still a nice brew.
