Pours a dark brown with a cm or two of head. Some dark malts and a lot of coffee in the nose. Taste is exactly what a coffe stout should be. You could warm this up and drink it in the morning and not know the difference. A little boozy on the finish. Very nice silky mouth feel. Overall I really enjoyed this one and wouldn't hesitate to buy it again when I'm in the mood for a coffee stout.

Poured from 22 oz bottle into tulip glass.
A: Poured dark brown that settled to almost black in the glass. Nice frothy two finger tan head with some lacing.
S: Coffee and chocolate very apparent. Some roasted malts, caramel, and maybe a hint of vanilla.
T: Again the coffee is fairly prominent. Chocolates are also big leaning towards milk chocolate or cake like flavors. A bit of caramel and nice roasted flavors you would expect with coffee stout.
M: Medium body with fair carbonation. I might have preferred a bit thicker and fuller, but it is easy drinking. So much so, that the ABV can sneak upon you.
O: Very nice coffee stout. I might prefer Founders Breakfast Stout, or Espresso Yeti a bit more, but this one is an enjoyable brew!
