2011 vintage into a snifter at cellar temp

a-deep copper/ruby body with little to no head....slight lacing...carb bubbles seem adequate...

s-sweet malts with some very light citrusy hops...some bread and yeastiness round this out...a little caramel

t-sweet and caramely up front...some hop bitterness follows and a little bit of tang....the sweetness follows up the bitterness...but ends in a rush of hops and twang

m-medium bodied with ample carbonation to not make this heavy going down..the bitterness lingers on the palate and leaves a slight twang

o-a sold american barleywine especially considering the price...i have no problem putting these away...if they would clean up the twang it would be stellar

At novare res was given a glass....the color is classic barley wine buy the glass and how it was served, free, definitely. Knock it up. The aroma is sweet caremel toffee butter delicious. The taste matches swwleet up front bit the carel and slight and I men slickeryfht roast come in to smooth the tongue. The finish is slightly ddru but beautiful. The eas a 2011 and is drinking perfect...stupid phone
