Pours a vibrant, ruby-red color with an off-white head that is pillowy and dense. The aroma displays this beer's large malt bill and is accompanied by cherries, orange and alcohol. The taste is big and wonderful and also surprisingly balanced. The intense sweetness from the fruitiness and maltiness goes perfectly with the hoppiness and alcohol that is present. The beer is heavy in the mouth and I suppose "round."

Awesome beer.

At novare res was given a glass....the color is classic barley wine buy the glass and how it was served, free, definitely. Knock it up. The aroma is sweet caremel toffee butter delicious. The taste matches swwleet up front bit the carel and slight and I men slickeryfht roast come in to smooth the tongue. The finish is slightly ddru but beautiful. The eas a 2011 and is drinking perfect...stupid phone
