Served in a tulip glass

A - Pours very dark brown almost black with an off-white 1 finger head.

S - Smells of dark roasted malts, chocolate and slight coffee.

T - Dark rich toasted malts. Chocolate and coffee. A little bit of bitterness but not hoppy. Warm from the 9.9% ABV.

M - Thick body that coats the mouth fully. Low carbonation give this beer a very creamy feel.

O - This is a superb beer. Something that would be best on cold winter nights around the fire. Great value at $3.99. Definitely worth buying again next time I see it on the shelf.

A stout is not my normal brew but Lagunitas is one of my favorite breweries. This beer poors as black as night. Has a thick malty aroma. Head is like something I could sleep on. A bunch of pillowy foam that seams to last long enough to sleep on but lacing almost nonexistent.

The smell is nice fore a stout...very malty.

Taste is malts and it is good. smokey alcohol.

Feels so smooth and thick. It says drink me slow and enjoy!

Like I said stouts are not my normal brew but Lagunitas is just plain awesome and
for a brew type not at the top of my list they put together a really smooth and appealing brew.
