Pours a translucent golden amber color with 3 fingers of white, fluffy head. Sticky lacing.

The nose is full of pineapple, resiny hops, a bit of citrus fruit and just a tad bit of sweet malt.

The flavors are gushing with resiny hop oils that bring notes of tropical and citrus fruits. Juicy. The hop bitterness slowly fades and brings some biscuit-like malt notes.

The mouthfeel is medium bodied with sharp carbonation. Sticky and silky.

Overall, this is a very solid, year-round, easily accessible dipa that has great profiles accross the board.

Bottle Served in a 16oz Goose Island Glass

Appearance: Amber, with a solid white head

Smell: Piney, hoppy, sweet,

Taste: Sweet, Caramel, Sugary. The hops are not cutting through on this one. It reminds of the Undercover Investigation Ale.

Mouthfeel: slight to moderate carbonation and thin bodied.

Overall: I wouldn't consider this a DIPA. I would characterize this as a flavorful Amber ale. The hops are not cutting through on this. It is very sweet and malty. The sweetness overpowers the hops.
