Pours a rich golden orange into a Chimay chalice with a finger of long-lasting creamy white head. Lovely aroma of flowers, citrus, yeast, and banana.

High carbonation and an immediate burst of full flavor throughout the mouth, with prominent banana, yeast, green apple, and a hint of clove on the finish. Really delicious and fully flavored without being cloying (though it is quite sweet). The higher ABV is mostly present just upon tasting, giving this beer a pleasant dry champagne quality.

A wonderful Belgian and probably my favorite from Unibroue, though the robust flavor usually leaves me satisfied at just one.

Pours straw yellow and cloudy with some white head that stays around through the end but leaves no lacing.

Smells of yeast has hints of spice. Smells like it will have a complex taste. Let's find out.

Has warmth to it and a slight, but not overpowering alcohol taste. I'm tasting mulled spices and caramel.

Mouthfeel is good. It's got good body and a nice foaminess.

This is a tasty beer and a good choice for drinking while debating friends.
