On-tap at the HBBC,

A: Pours a very dark orange, looks almost brown, with a small white head. Definitely the darkest Marzen I've seen.

S: Good malt quality and a bit of toasted bread.

T: Strong malt flavour with a big bite of roasted barley, almost like a light porter mixed with a marzen. Interesting flavour and pretty tasty, but not particularly to style.

S: Medium-bodied and easy to drink, off-dry feel.

D: Not a bad Oktoberfest beer, it's certainly better than a lot I've had lately, but it's not up there with the upper echelon in this style. Good drinking beer overall.
