Notes:
Joe’s multinational take on a classic IPA. IPA’s are known for their intense hop bitterness, flavor and aromas. First, Joe used American and English malt, then American and English hops are added during the mash, first wort, boil, and finally it’s dry hopped for aroma. Belgium gets involved with the yeast and a special candy sugar finish for smoothness and flavor.

A - Hazy deep golden hue with a touch of amber. Had to do a rough pour to get a respectable head that faded relatively quickly. As a homebrewer, I actually have quite a soft spot for unfiltered, bottle-conditioned beers.
S - Lots of pine and grapefruit with a touch of sweetness hinted.
T - A punch of bitterness that hits after the initial honey-sweet maltiness. Great toasted notes that wash over the back of the tongue. Overall, very well balanced IPA in the taste department.
M - Perfectly viscous for an IPA. I've definitely had more than a few that feel like i'm drinking hop-essence water. Good carbonation that tickles the sides of the tongue and on the lips.

APPEARANCE: Golden-orange with a slightly off-white head that is just locked into place. It's about a half-inch thick in the snifter and is really not moving at all. Thousands and thousands of bubbles are screaming up the sides of the glass around the outside. This is a very lively beer. Additionally, I have to say I love the Red Stripe/Session-style bottle.
SMELL: Fresh cut grass with a hint of marijuana smoke in the distance perfectly describes the aroma here. It isn't the most intense, but it is very pleasant.
TASTE: Standard grassy IPA. Enough caramel malt to balance it out, but ultimately this is grassy and citrusy. The citrus lingers to the end and sets up the mild malt front at the beginning of each new sip.
MOUTHFEEL: Pretty decently carbonated. Body is pretty light for an IPA and despite this being a pretty easy drinker it is very light.
OVERALL: I will most definitely pick this beer up again when heading through Iowa. The other beer of theirs I had was infected and I was bummed, but this is fresh and delicious. Very solid offering.

Mildly spicy yeast aroma with a Belgian quality to it. That's okay, but not too much else going on.
Mostly clear amber with gold to brown and orange. Smallish head.
I've had this several times and I keep coming to the conclusion that the flavors are just a mess. The bitterness is strong and not that pleasant. The malt flavors are weak and uninteresting and the hops are mostly grassy. Occasionally get some yeast flavors - they are okay. I like the idea and the marketing speak - that's why I bought it, but in the end it's just not that enjoyable .
Thinnish body, but not too much. Prickly carbonation.
In the end the bitterness is too emphasized. not very pleasing and too much.

ST: Bottle poured into a glass
A: Darker golden hue; kind of like a lighter rusty color. clear body, clouds up when mix in yeast from bottom of bottle
S: Get a more hop forward smell. Definitely get a dry hop aroma
T: Fell a little flat for me, could be because of the bottle I had. The very top of the bottle, on the lip where the cap goes over, had been chipped, so possible loss of carbonation. What I did get out of it was the dry hop in the flavor. The dry hop taste definitely helped out.
MF: Lighter body, not heavy on the hops (again revert back to my comment in 'Taste'). Low carbonation*; the dry finish from their dry hop process helped.
O: My overall experience was fair, but could be better. I will give it another try due to the fact of the bottle being "damaged".

Poured into a shaker pint glass.
Look: carrot-orange color. Good head retention and lacing.
Aroma is caramel, apples, and bitter grapefruit.
Taste: Really good caramel sweetness at first, then great hops and grapefruit.
Nice mouthfeel.
Overall: good. More balanced than most. Love the stubby bottle.t
