World of Beer Viera is in the beautiful Avenues shopping complex. They do not serve food, but you don't have to when you have a monster beer selection, on tap and in bottles. The local restaurants and delis will deliver food to World of Beer (They also provide menus). Its a nice big facility that can hold its own. Feel free to sit outside and enjoy the weather or sit indoors and catch a game on the TV. Friendly and knowledgeable staff are there to help you with your choice of beer. For someone that appreciates good craft beer, this place is like a candy store to a kid. Many times I've walked in and am baffled by the selection of beer, its hard to choose what you want when you have endless beer to choose from. Also, you can purchase beer and take it home.

This is a fun place to hang out with a great selection of beer. They don't offer any food, but welcome you to bring your own or have some delivered from the surrounding venues. Beers are about $5-7. The only dislikes I have about WOB are that seating is limited and the live music on the weekends is too loud. Overall it's still a fun place to go.

This place has some very good beers and is a really fun place to go kick back and try some different craft beers with friends. One problem is that on Friday, Saturday and Sunday the place can get really crowded and very difficult to get a table or service. The place is very clean and an enjoyable place to be at. They also serve your beer in the appropriate glass and can give you advice on what beer to get. They also have a lot of TVs going with various sports. You can bring whatever food you want in with you which is very convenient since there are so many good food places around. If you get too drunk, there is a Five Guys in walking distance which is always a plus.

Visiting down here from Ohio my cousin took me to this bar..

The atmosphere is great, a very up to date setting with comfortable seating at every table and a decent size bar. There at big TVs all around the bar and a stage for bands above the bar.

The service wasn't the greatest, the did have acouple waitresses doing our table but sometimes there was a lapse of time before they came back. But they were VERY knowledgeable of any beer that we asked about and had suggestions for us. The waitress told us that they actually have to do a training each week(or maybe month) on the beer they have so they know about it.

The Selection was amazing, it may be because they had stuff I can't get in Ohio but I thought it was great. The bottle list was in alphabetical order and had probably 300+ bottles ranging from $4.00-37.00 they even had Dogfishhead World Wide Stout which I had to try. The tap list was about 40+ beers with a wide range of choices. The prices for most of the normal beer was 4-8 dollars, and the high quality stuff was price accordingly.

One cool thing they had were beer shots, we bought the waitress one to see what was and then ordered some for ourself. It basically a 4oz shot of beer, the one we had was a mix of Southern Tier Unearthy and Abt 12. You take it like a normal shot, it was really good too.

Overall this is a great place to try a lot of beer and have a good time going out.

This place is in the middle of one of the popular town-style malls, this one in Viera. This place is pretty decent, with a great atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door. Decent number of tvs for sports or any events, lots of spacing in the seating arrangement, and a decent amount of seats out in the beer garden area with a bar that looks into the inside. The calendar of events looked decent, with lots of live and local music being played on multiple nights of the week. There isn't any food served there, but you can bring food in from anywhere to eat while you are there. Also, they will take care of your refuse when you are done. On top of that, if you want food from one of the surrounding restaraunts, you can call and tell them you are at WOB and they will deliver it to you. Can't go wrong with that. The service was very decent, and the servers were very knowledgable. In fact, a bunch of the servers were going through "Beer School" while we were there, which our server informed us consisted of tasting a bunch of the new offerings. The prices were not all that bad, especially for the amount and diversity of the beer list. Draught taps are always rotating, as well as the bottle list, both of which are fairly massive. Good place to swing by if you are near one.

World of Beer...the latest and greatest chain of bars...and a good one too. This place updates their tap list almost daily and it is available on their site, which is easy to navigate. The atmosphere is a nice younger crowd, which I like. Their tap list always has something good, and at least once a month they do a brewery tap takeover with stuff that is kind rare (especially for Florida). My only gripe is the service which can be slow, and this place is sooo popular it really needs double the space that it has.

They don't serve food, but you're welcome to bring it in.

After receiving those text message alerts all the time, I finally got one just before driving by saying: "Sierra Nevada Night ...blah blah blah" The Rep and Distributor were there and after explaining how I had just scored some of the new Sierra Nevada Mustard the Rep loaded me up with a Pint of Celebration. Celebration in March!!! Very nice night. Im sure the Melbourne hairy beer festival at Broken Barrel will be well attended but drive up to World of Beer and see how Beer is done! Thanks guys for delivering wonderful taps.

The place is located in a very nice shopping center atmosphere hidden in the back side. The atmosphere is very open. We sat on the patio at the bar connected through a window to the inside. Very friendly atmosphere where it is comfortable to talk to others.

The bartender was very knowledgable and keen to our particular tastes. He made some very good suggestions and always served us in the proper glassware. The selection was phenomenal. They had about 30 rotating on tap and over 500 selections in the bottle. They had everything imaginable that is available in Florida.

The bartender was very generous on allowing us to taste from the tap before purchasing. I probably had two pints worth of samples. Very highly suggested.

They don't serve food, but there is a pizza place nearby that will deliver.

A welcome addition to the craft beer experience on the Space Coast. Draws big crowds every time I've been there in the evening. Only time I've been able to sit at the bar is on a Sunday afternoon. I think they could use more tables, as there is plenty of open space available.

High ceilings can make a this place very loud when crowded & they play the music too loud to be able to carry on a conversation. Big screen TVs abound, so whatever game you're looking for, it's usually on. A good age mix of 20s through 50s is drawn here to a nice location.

Good selection of drafts, about 40 on tap. Bottles are said to number at 500. I was skeptical at first, being a chain, they might have a large number of mediocre taps. That is not the case here, they do get some hard to find stuff. They always have some Florida beer on tap, with Cigar City, Swamphead and Florida Beer. They also feature different breweries where they will tap 5-6 brews from a the featured brewery. Sometimes the featured breweries will be poured at $3, like when they had Abita during Marti Gras.

Being a corporate place, the employees receive training, but still not too knowledge about beer. You can tell the owners are not beer geeks. They have proper glassware which they don't freeze or refrigerate, which is good. Only problem is, they don't always use the proper glassware for the beer. For instance, I've been served a Cigar City Brown in an 8 oz sniffer, because it is a Cigar City sniffer. Should be in a pint glass.

They don't have a kitchen, but you can order from some of the nearby restaurants, which make for some decent choices. Haven't tried this, so can't vouch for how well it works.

Overall, a nice addition to the Melbourne area craft beer scene. I guess Melbourne is now on the craft beer map, with this corporate entry.

Located in the beautiful Avenues outdoor shopping center in Viera, WOB offers quite a bit for the seasoned (or beginner) quality beer drinker. It's brand new, and thankfully there is no live music (yet), so you can actually hear yourself talk unlike a lot of local bars. The place is also very well kept so far and they have a nice outdoor bar and seating area overlooking a giant fountain in the Avenues' courtyard. Very nice. They feature several large flat screens usually showing various sporting events.

Selection is the name of the game at WOB. They have over 500 beers available, and 40 of them are on tap. They also rotate their brews regularly, so throughout the year you have a virtually endless selection. If it's available in Central Florida...they probably have it. They easily have the best selection in town. They also have a card member service. You pay $15 to buy a card which will record every brew you drink. As you reach different benchmarks in your beer drinking adventures, you get free stuff. Eventually, if you manage to make it to 500 beers, you get a free $250 beer tab! You can also have your server print you a list of wat you've had so far, which is cool. I also heard you will soon be able to look up your beers online.

The service isn't something to write home about. The bar is very new (about three months at the time of this review), and the waitresses are spread out a bit too thin I think. You would assume since the establishment doesn't serve any food that the service would be extremely quick and efficient (the ONLY thing they serve is beer....that's it!), but it's generally quite slow, and I've often had to wait 10-15 mintes with an empty glass before even seeing my waitress again. It all depends on when you go and which server you get though. One thing I can say is that every server I've gotten has been very friendly, and has a good enough knowledge of beer to at least give you suggestions.

Price is another issue, as it often is at most bars that serve quality beer. Beers range anywhere from $3-$25, but the average seems to sit between $5-$8. Drinking at these prices can get a bit pricey if you plan on having a few. Fortunately, they always have some specials. There's always one featured beer for $3 (always something good when I go), and they have a discounted bottles list for beers they're phasing out (often seasonals)...so if you don't mind limiting your selection, you can drink for a reasonable price.

As mentioned earlier, they don't serve food (although I've heard rumors that this might change). They do have an interesting partnership with surrounding resaurants where you can get a menu and call the restaurant up...order food...and they'll deliver it to the bar. This ends up being pretty nice becuase there is a really good variety in The Avenues. They also allow you to buy bottled bear to go, but I haven't used this service yet. Pretty self-explainatory I imagine.

Overall, it really is a great venue. I know some people are really big on service, so that may be an issue, but for me it's well worth the selection.
