Aug 2003 on the bottle cap. Sweetish slight lemon nose. Very clear translucent bright yellow look in the Blanche de Bruges goblet. Very slight white outer ring of a head. Mellow sweet wheaty flatish malt flavor. Plain malt on the tongue. Lively mouth but on the light side. Overall quite average.. the brew is very uncomplex.

Fairly good Wit. Pours a hazy stray gold color with a decent sized delicately bubbling head. Head retention is good. Some lacing on my Bud Select flute.
Smell is weak, a little malty and some lemon zest.
Taste is fairly mild as well, no Belgian yeast, mainly lemon zest and herbs / spices. Tastes a bit floral. Overall pleasant enough, just not a really memorable Wit.
Mouthfeel is rich for the style and crisp, the taste could be more robust, but this is not a weak beer.
Overall fairly good. A nice refreshing summertime drink.

A: two finger white head on a hazy straw colored body. Nice lacing. 4
S: pale malts and grain form a musty and almost soapy aroma. 3
T: A nicely malty wit. Sweet lemon custard and orange peel fruitiness. A slightly zesty herbal note as well. 4
M: light to medium body and high carbonation. 4.5
Overall: the mouthfeel and full flavor sets this apart from the typically weak beers in this genre.

Poured from a brown 25.4 oz. bottle. Has a cloudy white/golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is alive with citrus and spices. Taste is very flavorful, citrus, spices, yeast, a touch of tartness. Refreshing and easy drinking. Feels full bodied in the mouth and overall is worth seeking out.

On tap at Zeno’s Pub - State College, PA - Oct 14, 2007. Contrived aroma wisping of sacarrhin plum sauce and peach juice. Pours a grayish straw, totally clouded, with fast-fading rocky white head. Flavor is a washed out, thin and brightly sugared mess. Clean, but fakey and constructed of blandness. Bits of apple candy and almond powder. Backs out with a lightly metallic finish. Meh.

A- Pours a clear straw yellow body with a 2-finger white head. The head doesn't last too long and there's very little lacing.
S- Bready yeast, coriander, lemon grass, slight orange peel, and lemon zest.
T- Lemony flavor up front, nice yeastiness, and a little tartness at the end of each sip.
MF- Light bodied but well carbonated, which helps out the palate.

I'm not a big fan of witbier and this one was no different. If you like the style, you may like this but it didn't really do anything for me.
Color, smell, taste and mouthfeel were all pretty much within the style.
I'll try it again but there's not much else that I can say about it at this point.

Pours a faint and cloudy yellow, huge bright white head, carbonation is consistent with a belgian wit.
Aroma came off a little odd at first, kinda like rotting vegetables, then came a soft aorma of wheat malt, banana esters, citrus and soft black peper. Flavor is well rounded and there is a balanced presence of faint citrusy orange, wheat and fresh spring grass.
Not bad but I think mine was a little old, try to get it the fresh off the delivery truck

Can someone put a leash on this thing please? I pour it in ever so gently and the head is growing in the glass!! It's almost out of the glass as I watch it.
Color is basically a clear gold. And the ever growing head is white. Flavor is about standard. Sweet tones. Very minor bitter edge on the abckside. Citrus. Decent. But a little bit bright really. Feel is standard. This is drinkable, yes. But there are many other balanced witbiers out there I would rather go to than this.

This beer pours a nice yellowish colour with enough sediment to thicken it up a bit, but not too much. Has a big, foamy, but short-lived head.
Smells like a Witbier. Some spice and a fair bit of citrus, but not as much banana as others I've tried.
As for the taste, it starts out sweet and fruity, but has a bit of a sour note later. Not a lot, but enough that it stopped me from loving it.
