Gosh, what should I do now? It's just past 4pm, and traffic on the way home sucks. Well, going for a beer can't hurt at this time.
A very "hip" interior. It's a little dark and intimate on the inside, yet there's a sizable number of seats in the house. The bar area is not a large one, but at this time it didn't really matter.
Four different beers pouring from the taps, plus 50 optins from the can/bottle. Beers from El Segundo, Strand, Smog City, and Brouwerij West. Bottles/cans from Maui, Lost Abbey, Dogfish Head, The Bruery, Belhaven, Flying Dog. The El Segundo Hudson was on Happy Hour, so I opted for a pour of that, which was displayed in a smallish stange-like glass (maybe 13-14 ounces). A few other specials are offered for Happy Hour too, including $2 fries and Tecate.
The selection of beer available is on the respectable side. However, I see the Hudson House as more of a place for cocktails, as many craft spirits are available. If your party is a mix of beer and cocktail enthusiasts, the Hudson House would a good spot to satisfy both worlds.

Small intimate place that is features a lounge singer from time to time on Fridays. Otherwise, it's pretty mellow. Decent beer selection on draught and bottle (and can). Food is great. Burger is killer on a pretzel bun with shoestring fries. The owners are a husband and wife couple. Wife has some Father's Office connections. If I recall correctly, she helped build the Father's Office menu, hence the similarities in the burger and fries. Top notch! Husband likes to talk beer. Was hospitable to my wife and I who went in looking for some good beer. He gave us many samples even w/out our request. Gave me a whole can of Maui Brewing's IPA as a sample for no charge.

Very hip, intimate atmosphere and a mostly local crowd. You could easily drive by this place a hundred times and not really notice it, which only adds to its appeal, in my opinion. Saturday night there were some GOOD looking people in the place, myself included, if I may say.
We didn't try the house drafts, but they have a bottle selection to meet any taste. I was pleasantly surprised to find they have Lost Coast Alleycat, so we put down a few of those. The food is better than it needs to be, and reasonably priced. This place looks like a must for Happy Hour (Mon-Fri 5pm-7pm.)
