This is the new brew from the guys over at Eagle Rock Brewery with a little help from Mr. Saison Drew Beechum. I had taken away a growler of Limbo to enjoy over the hot weekend, did not last long!
Pours a nice straw color with a reasonable bubbly head.
The aroma is a mix of citrus hops and the spicy peppery-phenolic yeastness. I think more aroma would be noticeable once it warmed up but I just seem to be drinking it too fast to let it get warm!
Crisp refreshing saison with overtones of citrus and... Surprising pineapple Hi-C tropical punch thing going on. Nice clean tart finish with hints of Bret! Just enjoy funk to make it fun and still approachable.
An amazing treat for the warm weather, could find myself drinking this all summer. Time to refill the growler!

New eagle rock brew!
Citra hopped saison with Brett, designed by the saison master himself mr. Beechum (BA-drewbage)
pours a nice dark straw with a half finger of head, slightly cloudy, looks promising.
Aroma is slightly yeasty with a nice phenolic hop thing going, nose slightly stuffy so probably missing the boat aroma wise on this.
Flavor is as advertised, great crisp saison with wonderful citrus and tropical fruit hop flavors through the mid sip, finish is light and crisp with a hint of tartness that lingers on the sides of the tongue.
Pretty happy with this brew, and a timely release as it's hot as balls out , gotta love a good summer saison.
