This place is pretty good for a chain resteraunt. The food is good, and the selection of beers is okay, I hear that the owner has been listening to the advice of the Charlotte Beer Club and will be devoting more of thier taps to craft. Being a chain they obviously have to carry a few taps dedicated to BMC swill, but around half of thier 20 taps are decent craft beer.
This place actually won Stone Brewing Companies "Most arrogant bar" contest for selling the most arrogant bastard/oaked arrogant bastard/double bastard during the one week contest period.
I would definately reccomend this place Be careful though, the waitresses are a bit scantily clad (not that I mind)...the wife/kids may not appreciate the scenery as much as us men. kind of like a Hooters, but the girls are wearing kilts, plus the food is a little better than a Hooters. The downside is that I think they are a little pricey for the selection, and the lunch rush will leave you waiting for 20-30 minutes sometimes.

Went to the Tilted Kilt today after some fishing. Brought a guy that had never been before, and he was more than impressed with the talented women hanging out in the foyer when we walked in.
The draft beer selection is impressive, they have OMB Copper, Dunkel, Foothills Maelstrom, Four Friends Uptown Brown, Highland Gaelic, Stone Oaked Arrogant Bastard, Stone Russian Imperial Stout, Bell's Two Hearted, and many more. The girls behind the bar are more than friendly and will let you sample a beer or two if you ask them.
Today they tapped a keg of Saison du Buff and we all tried a small sample. Wow. That brew is highly impressive for a brew that has so many spices.
P.S. - The girls at Tilted Kilt put the girls at Hooters to shame...

I have been here several times, including openeing day, and wasnt too impressed on any of my visits. I have been twice for lunch and once for dinner. The atmosphere is okay. The bar area is pretty cool but the dining room is pretty lifeless. Large and vacuous and just your average sports bar feel.
The food is okay. I have had the burger which was good, but the sausage sandwich and the salads are not very good.
The beer leaves much to be desired. They have a decent, not good or great, beer selection that includes Stone products, New Belgium and not much else. The majority of the drafts are macro types with the typical "Scottish" and "Irish" drafts (like SMithwicks, Guinness, Harp, Stella, Killians, etc.). I would rate the selection as a 2.25. There are tons of better places to go in Charlotte for food and beer. If you want to look at hot waitresses, this is your place. However, as most bars and restaurants with the focus on "hot waitresses", the focus is on hot waitresses and not much else.
I havent been back since shortly after they opened and unless I am there on business, I wont go back again.
Beware, the wait for lunch is often over 30 minutes so get there early!
