On tap at 44 Stone during the Six Row roll-out party.
A - Poured a dark amber color with a one-finger, off-white head of thick foam. It left thin rings of sudsy lace on the glass.
S - It smelled of cracked wheat, yeastiness and a touch of booze.
T - It tasted of wheat, piney notes, yeasty/spiciness and a bready malts. There was a mild boozy flavor.
M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A medium bodied ale with a dry finish.
O - This is a very tasty wheat beer. Almost needs to be called a wheatwine. It it big and strong.

Pours a hazy, copper / amber color. 1/3 inch head of a white color. Great retention and good lacing. Smells of sweet malt, yeast, slight pale malt, floral notes, and a hint of clove. Fits the style of an American Pale Wheat Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, slight yeast, hint of hop, slight alcohol, hint of citrus, slight floral notes, and a hint of spice. Overall, good appearance, blend, and body. The floral/spice notes blend much better in the Killer Whale, than in the regular Whale.

Served this beefed up version of Six's Row's flagship beer "Whale", served "Killer Whale", on tap at the brewery. Poured a deep copper color, produced a thick white head, excellent retention and it let large thick amounts of lacing on the pint glass. The aroma featured a fruity melody of apple, prunes and floral hops. Big body, this amped up brew had a strong malted grain base- according to my server, there were 10 different kinds of malt used in the brewing process. Strong flavors of alochol, apples, prunes and a tea like floral finish. A very unique beer, very strong - not something I could drink more then one of in a sitting- but overall very nice. Prost!
