Served this unfiltered Hefeweizen at the brewery, on tap in a pint glass. This ale poured a hazy copper color. Produced a thin white head, average head retention, excellent lacing left on the glass. Aroma was built on soft wheat, honey and some spice. The brewery sates that the honey was harvested in the beautiful Honey Mecca of Florissant Missouri. :-/ Good session beer, nice summer beer, light body and has a slightly sweet and bitter hop finish.

on tap at the brew pub, part of the sampler. 3 ounce pour.
This pours a hazy yellow color. Nice fluffy head that leaves plenty of lacing. Pretty typical looking Hefe. Aromas are yeast, breads, funk, and some bananas. Not really picking up any honey in the nose. Taste is slightly watery, but the honey does pop through on the palate. Oranges and bananas are also present. Decent tasting hefe. Mouthfeel is light bodied and slightly watery. Drinkability is mediocre. Nice on a summer afternoon but not something I will pick from a tap list.

A: Hazy, light amber. Nice head retention, great lace windows.
S: Nice malts, spice ( corriander ), yeasty, sweet.
T: Follows nose, no hefe trademark bananna.
M: light, coats mouth with a light sweetness.
D: Another nice brew from the new guys on the block. This will be a great summer beer, while sitting outside, people watching on the boulevard. For a young group, they are doing a nice job here.

Pours a cloudy, golden color in the upper half of the glass the fades into a copper color along the bottom. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Decent retention and slight lacing. Smells of sweet malt, yeast, spice (coriander), slight citrus, and very slight honey. Fits the style of a Hefeweizen. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, yeast, spice, and slight citrus. Overall, the best offering from Six Row, that I've had. Good blend, nice body, refreshing, and crisp. Not really picking up any honey, though.
