I went to this bar motivated for some comments I found o this website. I can say that comments describe very good this place:
This is more a social place, with games and screens everywhere. Music was quite awkward, the DJ mixes Hip Hop with Britney Spears, but the public of the bar seemed to like it (not me).
However, I went there to test beer on tap, and they have a really good and wide selection in my opinion, at least a wider selection than an average bar.
On tap, they had three black beers (one stout and two porters), and around 10 different kind of ales and few lagers.
I wish I had more time to be in Blue Bell to go back and taste more beers, but I felt glad to go there.
I also tried the Inferno Wings, and they were delicious.
Despite of the music, beer was good.
That would be my place to go often if I lived in Blue Bell.

We were in Blue Bell for a wedding and picked up on P. J. Whelihan's from Beer Fly so we went there for lunch. Its a really big old house that has probably been expanded over the years, a very comfortably setting. And yes, PJ's can't really decide whether it is a sports bar with really good beer or a tap bar with a lot of TV's. Anyway, there are about 14 micro/craft taps at the main bar and about 9 more in the side bar. We had Deschute's Mirror Pond, which I have never seen in the East before, as well as Cigar City's Jai Alai IPA, Which I have never seen outside of Florida. Several Yard's beers and Stoudt's beers were also on tap.
Burgers and wraps were well made and delicious and our server took good care of us. As in most pubs these days it was easy to strike up conversations with other folks at the bar and we had a mot enjoyable time. Check this place out if you are in he neighborhood of Blue Bell.

Atomsphere is more of a sports bar, as the bar area and restaurant areas include many TV's showing whatever games are on at the time. There are a few side rooms, one of which has a second bar.
While most of their daily drink specials feature your typical BMC fair, they actually had about 15 craft beers on tap, listed on a big caulk board on the wall for easy reference. Mostly semi-local breweries, like Troegs, Victory, Yards, Flying Fish, Dogfish Head, plus some New England stuff like Long Trail and Smuttynose.
The servers are friendly and attentive, but on the downside don't really have beer knowledge.
Food is standards sandwiches and pub food. Their burgers, fries, and wings are all good. They have like 4 different varietys of fries, and a variety of wing flavors. Wings are a bit pricey, but they are big, and pretty tasty.
Not really a craft beer destination, but I've been pleasantly surprised with the quality of their offerings.

PJ Whelihan's in Blue Bell used to be a place i would frequent when i was into the bar scene for more then just drinking fine beers.
It's located in a verynice part of Montgomery county. There have been a few places located at this spot/ It used to be a place called Tiffany's for a while then it was Valley Forge Brewing Co. that only lasted a few months. Since then It's Been PJ's.
Its a very attractive place inside. Theres a smaller bar area to your left when you first walk in and then down a few steps leads you to the main bar and dining area.
They have your typical Micros on tap with 1 or 2 decent beers usually. The bar tenders and hostesses are usually nice eye candy. I've on;y eaten there a few times but it was always above average.
This is a nice college crowd place and gets pretty paced on the weekends.
