My brilliant sister bought this big case of a Kirkland mixer pack. They were somewhat inexepensive. For the most part, they are drinkable and representative of their repective styles, but if you are tasting and comparing, not so good.

This was one of the kirlands that I preferred. It had a slightly authentic taste, smell. color, etc. It has some funky aftertaste, but otherwise, it is a reasonable representation of what it is supposed to be.

It's drinkable, but I will advise my sister to not buy this again.

My house on July 13, 2012. Bottle into pint glass. About one finger of head, which dissipated almost immediately. Flat out caramel color. Light lacing on the sides. No retention. Lots of bubbles.

Smelled caramel, toffee and candy sugary sweets. Seemed to be light cocoa notes as well. Also wheat and grass.

Tasted like the toned-down smell. Got the same caramel, toffee and sugary candy notes.

Light-to-medium body. Thin texture. Average carbonation. Normal finish. Somewhat refreshing.

Surprisingly a good beer, despite me drinking it not as cold as it could have been. Not what I would call a Belgian White, but it hit the spot.

This poured out as a nice looking hazy golden color. It had a decent white head on top. The nose was of oranges, some light spice and wheat. The taste of the beer has a pretty good balance of citrus and spice upfront that settled into a clean soft wheat flavor. The mouthfeel was smooth, lightly carbonated. Overall this was a pretty refreshing brew. I could see myself drinking a few more of these.

Tasted last year - reviewed from notes that were lost, but recently found.

Poured into tumbler -

Pours slightly hazed light golden with a thin creamy white head that slowly descends to a wide patch. Minimal lacing sticks.

The smell is of cotton candy, clove and honey. Pleasant aroma!

The taste is of cotton candy and clove. Sweet initially but with a refreshing floral dryness in the finish.

Smooth and crisp. Carbonation towards, but not quite at "Belgian-esque" but works well enough.

Not a bad attempt at the style at all and well worth the inexpensive price!
