Deep maple brown color. Soda like head with good retention and weak lacing.

Mild toffee and caramel in the nose along with hints of Belgian yeast.

Surface deep flavor of cooked caramel and bananas. Nutty. Cloves. Subtle earthy hop in good balance. Finish is tart.

Feel is light and way overcarbonated. Nearly ruins the whole beer.

Just ok. Less depth than many other examples of the style.

Smell: dark plums and tannins withe sweet vinegar subtleties

Taste: a dark fruit bouquet with semi-spiced peppers and red grapes with hints of bitter chocolate (maltiness)

Mouthfeel: slightly effervescent

This is an awesome beer to pair with filet crostini and caramelized onions as well as any cheese that has a sour taste, like a blue or a goat cheese
