Small bottle poured into a Tulip glass. Batch number is L08-684.
Appearance: Very hazy amber-orange with a nicely dense and persistent white head. Lots of bubbles coming up through the beer if I hold it up to the light and look closely. Some thick strands of lacing noted, but it did have a tendency to slide down the glass back into the top foam. Despite a careful pour, I know some of the yeast sediment came along for the ride and I suspect that is coloring the beer and making it very hazy.
Smell: Yeasty, sweet, fruity (plums), just a hint of orange and phenol. Quite complex, but appealing.
Taste: Complex. Definitely some hop bitterness, with a tiny bit of orange citrus, along with some earthy and spicy notes. Really hard for me to pull apart the flavors here - everything blends together with this beer. The malt is muted with this one; the sweetness in the aroma is mostly missing in the taste but it is just barely there as something yeasty and plum-like. At first I thought the beer needed to warm up more, but even once it warms up a lot, the sweetness is still muted and the flavor profile is still pretty much the same, just warmer.
Mouthfeel: Good carbonation that cleans the palate, but does leave some spicy sensation on the tongue. Nice thickness - quite smooth, but I cannot call it creamy.
Overall / Drinkability: Really a complex beer. Good, but difficult to figure out what all I'm drinking here. For all I have heard about this beer, I can say it is good, but I've had better Tripels. Maybe the sediment that came along has muddied the flavors. So in the end - good, just not great. Maybe again with a more careful pour I'll get a different beer.

The beer comes in a hazy red orange (almost like a Double IPA) with a foamy head. Wonderful beautiful color.
The aroma is a medium breadiness with a tart citric hint. And some warm juicy cherries. With spiced fruits like clove, maybe some cinnamon.
This beer has a nice bite with almost a metallic bitterness in the finish. A mild breadiness. It lacks of bit of character. There isn’t too much bright big fruit like as expected from other tripels. It does however have a wonderful round and mouthfeel. It’s silky almost. There’s a bitterness at the end. I rarely get this outside of hoppy IPAs, but I would describe it as a strong hop bitterness for this beer. However, this does make the beer more drinkable because it’s well balanced. It’s very drinkable and extremely solid.
I had this blind taste tested with Westmalle and La Fin Du Monde. This came in last, with La Fin first. It still does not take away from this being a fantastic beer.

Styl/abv (alcohol by volume): triple/ 8%
Smell: slight butter notes with a floral hue; it's pretty delicate on the nose, hence the flower reference
Taste: what the olfactory senses lack, the taste comes back in a big way. With sweet vanilla, bitter hops, spices, and herbs this beer is a really great gateway triple
Pairs very well with ceviche and Mexican Caesar salads; it's even killer with mozzarella paninis from Starbucks

If I was this beer's advocate, I would strongly advise it to plead guilty to being delicious.
I thought the blue one was supposed to be the best but I prefer this, completely different styles of beer mind you.
Pours a nice orangey gold colour. It tastes of beer and caramel, with some fruity and spicy notes. There's a slight taste of banana which I don't usually like but it's subtle and suits the beer in this case.
The mouth feel is just right, not too heavy not too light. The alcohol comes in at the end just before you open your mouth to say 'ahhh', right on time.
Delicious beyond a reasonable doubt.
