A: This beer pours a hazy dark copper. There was a ton of foam as I poured this beer due to a lot of carbonation (as I would expect in a fruit beer) but it died down quickly.
S: Not a ton to smell here. It this beer is trying to be anything - it's goal is to be subtle. If you try really hard, you can get a whiff of cherry and you also get a sense of the beers tartness as there is not a lot of sweetness in the nose.
T: It taste a lot like an undeveloped lambic - tart and complex. The cherries are there but again they are subtle. There are also grassy/bready notes as well. Not a ton of malt. This would be good on a hot summer day.
M: Tons of carbonation. I would imagine this tastes better on tap.
D: Good but not great. The more I drunk the more I liked it.

Review from notes.
Pours into dimpled mug a full amber color with little to no head retention though carbonation is evident.
Smells of wheat and cherries both up in the front.
Taste/Mouthfeel, a very well done balanced mix of tangy crisp wheat with a nice cherry finish that ends crisp and clean.
Another interesting entry from this brewery. A good, easy drinking yet flavorful summer beer who's cherry flavor isn't overwhelming in the sweetness. Would definitely recommend and get again for the warmer weather.

Golden brown beer with a thin head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of cherry, grass and some faint spice. Tart cherry and spice flavors with some grassiness in the aftertaste. With flavors that are somewhat muted and a light, crisp body, this could be a good brew for the beer connoisseur to take to the lake or a barbecue.

A: Darker orange-tinted amber in color. Forms a large bubbly head that reduces down to a thick white surface coating. Some very light lacing.
S: There is a hint of sour cherries, but the dominate smell is of carbonated walter or seltzer. Slightly reminiscent of a cherry 7-up.
T: Surprisingly strong tart cherry flavor. Beer itself is tart, yet with a slight candy-like sweetness on the back end. Cherry and a hint of vanilla with some easy pale malt in the background.
M: Lighter side of medium in body, but with heavy carbonation that gives this beer a slightly prickly feel to it.
O: A quite refreshing take on the style with a surprising dose of cherry flavor. Most beers like this barely have any fruit flavor, or what is there is artificial tasting. Not this one. The cherry is quite apparent and pretty tasty. Wish the nose was a bit more inviting and the carbonation were toned down, but otherwise a tasty, refreshing beer.

11.5 ounce bottle into weizen glass, bottled 05/12/11. Pours hazy red-orange color with a fairly foamy 2-3 fingers of off white head with great retention that reduces to a fairly thick lacing cap. A lot of bubbles streaming up from the bottom of the glass, and it also formed instant head on the pour that had to settle down. Aromas of big cherry notes, with some apple, grass, bread, and spices. Aromas are pretty weak as I would have expected, but the cherry smells quite authentic. Taste of big spiciness on the front with some cherry sweetness, light tartness, bread, and light fruits in the back. Lingering spice and fruit notes on the finish for a bit. Not much complexity going on here. Tons of carbonation with a light-medium body. Mouthfeel is quite prickly, but this still drinks very smoothly. No alcohol noticed other than a slight warming on the finish. Overall, a pretty good wheat beer that is quite refreshing. I may have it again.

Poured from a bottle into a standard shaker pint.
A: Pours a deep golden yellow with a 2" fluffy head that fades quickly but provides slightly better than average lacing throughout.
S: Smells slightly of sour cherries (as would be expected) but honestly smells of little else. Neither inviting nor uninviting.
T: Faint taste of sour cherries and pale malts, with maybe a hint of grassiness. Much like the smell, nothing here seems to intimate at anything special or worth returning to.
M: Smooth and perhaps just a touch overcarbonated on the tongue, but nothing truly out of place. Has a slightly chewy mouthfeel, which while nice seems a bit out of place for the style.
O: Simply put, I would enjoy this if somebody bought it for me (which this was) or was all that was offered at a friend's house, but there is just so much better beer out there, even within the Pale Wheat category.

12 ounce bottle, bottled on June 16th, 2011. Served in a Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat glass, the beer pours a hazy golden/orange color with a huge off-white head. I couldn't fit the whole bottle into the glass because the head was so big, I had to wait for the head to settle down some to finish before pouring the rest of the beer into the glass. There's only a small amount of lacing on the glass. The brew smells like bready malt, wheat and some cherries. The aroma seems to get stronger as the beer warms up some. Similar to the aroma, it tastes like wheat, bready malt, sweet/tart cherries and a bit of yeast. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's a bit slick with high carbonation. Once the carbonation settles down, it's a good drinkable brew. I wouldn't have any problem buying this again.
