Taken from notes on the beer.

A: pours a dark copper into an American shaker pint with about a finger of light khaki head.

S: peat, smoke, caramel, earthy.

T: very malty right up front, some grassyness is noticeable but there is some big peat and wheat notes in there

MF: clean and crisp, dry finish, sweet

O: a good beer and very good Scot ale, beautifully earth bound notes and very classic taste takes you to a Scotland pub for a moment.

Serving type: on-tap

Pours a very nice deep copper color with garnet flashes; good lacing and nice head. It has a deep malt scent, very heavy and sweet, with caramel undertones. Excellent flavor, very thick and deep, huge and malty; it has a nice caramel tone with slight peat undertones; there is also something else in the profile I can't place, but gave it a very nice extra burst/sheen in the flavor, with just a little extra sweetness (I'm guessing flaked oats, but have no idea really). This goes down smooth and rich, more what one would expect from a much higher gravity Scotch Ale. Brian did a great job making a sessionable Scottish style ale with Wee Heavy attributes.
