decent sized brewpub located south of downtown. typical brewpub decor except the brewing area is located directly in the middle of the restaurant in a glass enclosure. looks neat but this must suck for the brewers if they have to work when customers are around. i didn't notice any guest beers, just the 6-8 house beers. i thought i saw that they had some bmc for knuckleheads if memory serves. service was good. the red was decent as was another that i tried. unfortunately, they were out of the ipa. they had a few beers that were geared towards the masses which i didn't bother with such as a light-type beer and some rasperry something or other.

Visited back in April 2013 (from notes):
I visited the establishment on a Tuesday or Wednesday night, and it happened to be raining, so the place had pretty sparse crowd, maybe a dozen people in a place that could easy seat 60+ people. I sat at the bar, which had space for 15-20 people. The one thing that caught my eye was the kettles right in the middle of the joint. It was kind of cool, but I think that it broke up the space too much. So, the place was not really that happening that night, but I had the ESB and a Stout (it was on cask, but it had too much carbonation somehow...even the bartender said that he did not know what was wrong with it, but it just didn't taste or feel right. They may have had a dozen or so beers on tap, with a nice variety of styles. I also order some food, which was ok for pub grub...nothing special, but not bad. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable about beer and since I was only one a few patron, we had a nice discussion about beer. Overall, a decent place, but if I go back, I will head here for beers before heading somewhere else for dinner.

Really enjoyable place. It was low key so that you could have nice conversation with the people at your table. Not a huge selection of beer outside of what they brew (if any from what i remember), but a very solid lineup with many style options of house beers.
I had the ESB (4.0 on my rating) and a double IPA (3.75). Both were quality brews. They had a few different options that also sounded good that i didn't have a chance to try (a raspberry wheat).
Service was excellent. Waiter was well informed of their beers and knowledgable of each style as he tried to help my wife make a decision.
The food was also pretty good. A little more expensive than standard pub food, but better options and quality as well.
Certainly worth trying if you are in the Waldo area for dinner. I will certainly go back again.

I like the atmosphere and the beer tastes good but I have noticed that their growlers have a very short shelf life. If I open the bottle the net day it seems to be very flat. Also sometimes they fill it with a tube other times they fill it just like they would a pint glass. They also have a machine that fills it depending on which type of beer you get. Sometimes they don't fill it all the way up and leave quite a bit of air in it.
The people and beer are great just try to drink it the same day you get it.

I recently attended the "Bringing Back our Favorites" beer dinner at 75th Street, to which I had never been, and it was a good time. Of course, I think it could have been a lot better, but given my company and the fact there was beer there, it turned out good.
It seems like a fun place to be, there were plenty of people there obviously enjoying themselves, even on a Tuesday night. The food was very good, although since it was a beer dinner they had brought out their best dishes. The roasted mac and cheese was awesome as well as the chocolate truffle. The sesame encrusted ahi tuna salad was also good. I could have done without the five onion soup or the fish and chips.
The beers were good as well, some of them having been retired for some time. There was an excellent witbier as well as a good hefe and double porter.
My biggest complaint was the fact that both of out tables were wobbly, and I asked three different employees to get some coasters before I finally got pissed and got them myself. You know what I found on the ground? Old coasters were some Joe like had fixed the table beforehand. Come on dude, how many times do I have to make such a simple request?
Overall a good place, but I've certainly been to a lot better.

Visited with some friends for dinner and beers.
The atmosphere seemed kind of dingy. It was a pretty dark bar. Our table wobbled too, but we fixed it with a napkin.
The beer selection was ok. They had 6-7 beers on tap, but they all seemed to be gateway beers and didn't have anything interesting or challenging to offer.
The waitress didn't make it to our table too often, but we only ran out of water once so it wasn't that big of a deal.
The food was ok. Typical bar food. I had their potatoe chips, those were the high point for me.
