12 ounce can into a pint glass
A - A strong pour delivers a white, fluffy, one and a half thick finger head that fades away slowly. Body as one would expect is transparent, golden, and yellow. Slightly less carbonation visibly rising to the top than I would have expected but the solid head is worth something to note. A couple minutes later and the head has fallen to a lace with a nice ring around the edges. It's hard to be blown away by the look of a lager but this one certainly doesn't disappoint like others.
S - Nothing very overpowering in this beer, but it fits the style. Light malts, grains along with a sweet aspect that stands out along with the hops (caramel?) make for a nice aspect.
T - I am not getting as much of the sweet hops and caramel aspects that my nose picked up but those characteristics aren't necessarily ones that stand out in lagers. Still, it would have been nice to see that play in a bit more. Plenty of light malts, grains, and maybe a hint of corn. Overall, not bad for a lager but I was hoping for more.
M - Light bodied with a good amount of carbonation. Entering the mouth there is plenty of grains and malts present. A nice blast of carbonation washes the palate clean but the backside never seems to show up. Hops show up briefly before the strong amount of carbonation finishes things of somewhat clean and smooth.
D - This is a good beer for the style no doubt, but it is extremely hard to give this beer an exceptional rating when so few of the characteristics stand out among other lagers that I have tried. However, I like what the BrewFarm has put in this beer and look forward to trying some offerings that allow for some more creativity and leeway. As for this beer, it would be nice to see the carbonation toned down a bit so the true character of this beer could come alive. Solid lager though.

Poured from a refrigerated can into a Sam Adams' Perfect Pint glass. I've had about half of the 12-pack and am finally getting a chance to jot down my thoughts. For $12.99 for a 12-pack (about $2 more than what MGD goes for), the can tells me I get a "craft-brewed all-malt golden lager."
A=Slightly darker gold color, with off-white 3 finger head...very inviting.
S=Strong hop smell; more sweet than tangy.
T=First sip: very similar to adjunct lagers, with a tad less sweetness, perhaps, due to no corn. Hops are present, but not overpowering. I was hoping for something similar to Sam Adams' Boston Lager, but this is closer to Miller High Life. Enjoyable, just not spectacular.
M=Drinkable, but a bit too much carbonation and sweeter than I would like.
O=I see no reason to purchase this beer again...but I would drink it if offered. There are just too many better beers out there to consider purchasing this one again.

Finally getting around to reviewing this local lager. One of these day's I'll make it out to the BrewFarm to try some of his other creations.
Pours clear golden, with 1.5 fingers of foamy white head. Decent retention, some okay lacing. And a lovely little stream of bubbles rushing upward.
Smells quite grainy and full, with some faint lager yeast. Hate to repeat myself, but it has a nice full roundness to the aroma.
Taste is okay, but not great. It is, again, very grainy, and bready, with some grass-stem hop flavors. There's just a touch of bitterness on the back-end, but I'd like a little more to spice things up. In general, it drinks kinda flat rather than crisp or refreshing.
Medium-light body, a little heavier than I was expecting. Carbonation flares up early, then fades away. Finishes quick.
Not bad, but less than I was hoping for. It falls above the average pale lager. But my glass is almost empty, and I still don't think I know what it tastes like. The kind of beer you could drink a whole lot of on a hot day, but not something I'd drink for sheer enjoyment of beer.

Poured from the can to a Leffe chalice, how fitting.
Pours a nice looking honey gold with a thin white cap that falls off quickly. Smells of lightly toasted grains, sweet bread, just enough hops to provide balance. All these notes carry through to the taste - refreshing, drinkable, spot on.

A- Crystal clear golden with a two finger white head that lasts decenty well. Minimal lacing.
S- Sweet grain, light floral hoppyness.
T- Cracker, bread dough, light caramel, a light bit of hoppiness. Fairly sweet and lots of flavor throughout.
M- Not as clean of a mouthfeel as many but that's fine. It has a sticky sweetness in the finish. Carbonation is low.
O- A fairly tasty sweet pale lager. It's a fine beer, but I think part of the reason I'm enjoying it is there aren't very many good pale lagers. This one is good for a pale lager.

Pours a clear yellow with a dense three-finger head. Lots of big bubbles. The smell is biscuit, minerals, grass, something herbal. The taste is lots of grain, with some mild malty notes, plus a strong herbal character that gives way to a mild bitterness. It's a little thicker than I'd expect, nicely carbonated. A very fine lager. I'll seek this out next time I'm in Wisconsin.

A - Poured out a clear, golden-yellow color with a small, white head of thin foam. It left very little lacing.
S - It smelled of caramel and grains with a slight floral presence.
T - Vary good tasting lager. Great toasty flavor with a good malty sweetness. Mild spicy bitterness.
M - It was crisp and sharp. A light bodied lager with a clean, dry finish.
O - This is a really nice lager. I could see people in MN and WI going to it at a cookout on a hot day.

Recommended by Ed at Heritage.
A: light straw color with quickly dissipating head.
S: Mild sweet biscuity malt aroma.
T: Wow! Surprisingly loaded with flavor considering the mild aroma. Taste is a crisp sweet malty. The hops come in towards the middle. Finish is fairly quiet.
M: Crisp with ample carbonation.
O: Overall this is an excellent session beer. There is no corny adjunct flavor in this beer. Glad for the recommendation.

12 oz. can poured into a tulip glass.
Appearance-Yellow gold and crystal clear with a moderately thin white head which has fair retention.
Aroma-Sweetish, crackery Pils malt aroma with a nice dose of herbal/floral aroma hops. Relatively clean with just the slightest touch of orchard fruit esters.
Flavor-Lightly sweet, grainy, cereal malt flavor, with a touch of minty, herbal hop flavor. Low hop bitterness and a little bit of a carbonic bite come out in the finish, which has just a hair of lingering malt flavor in the aftertaste. I can't quite pick it out, but there's something in the aftertaste that just rubs me the wrong way a bit.
Mouthfeel-Medium light body, moderately high carbonation. Crisp on the palate. Refreshing.
Definitely not my style of beer, but this is a great interpretation of an American Pale Lager, and a fantastic "fancy lawn-mower beer". Moderately tasty and extremely quaffable.

Poured from a 12 ounce can into a pint glass.
Brewfarm select pours a golden yellow with a two-finger thick white head that quickly settles to a thin lace on the surface. Carbonation is lively, and head retention is decent. Smell consists of fresh grain, cereal, and floral character. The flavor is quite balanced. A bit of honey, green apple and cracker up front, followed by a wave of floral, grassy hop character. Finish is slightly dry and very clean.
This is the lawnmower beer of lawnmower beers. Light in body, well-balanced, and has good flavor. This is a beer that might have just found a permanent place in my fridge.

Poured from a 12 oz can into shaker glass.
Pours a clearish golden color with a quickly dissipating head. You can see the bubbles rise to the surface, appearing pretty carbonated. Some moderate lacing occurs
Smells like most other lagers. Little hop presence, light malt presence, and a little soapy. Smells slightly toasted as well.
This a pretty good pale lager. Tastes much better than the smell. Hops are more present in the taste, although you can tell a more mild hop is used. It gives it a nice crisp refreshing bite to the beer. Malt is about right for a pale lager. A subtle taste of toasted caramel.
This beer is right on in terms of mouthfeel. Pretty carbonated, but not overly so. Goes down really easily, light bodied.
Overall this is one of the better pale lagers I've had. It is refreshing and light, but has a nice crisp hop bite to it that other lagers don't. Could easily down a handful of these quickly and probably will.
