Very pale golden orange, hazy with suspended micro sediment. Wheats are traditionally hazy, so it fits the style. Slowly rising carbonation has a nice reverse-cascade effect. A finger's width of white foam, that lingers for a few minutes and fades to a skim.
Lightly sweet grainy wheat aroma, simple and pleasant, nothing out of the ordinary.
Flavor is mellow and smooth, wheaty and slightly dry in the finish, but very quenching. This is a hot weather beer, and i'll seek it out again in the spring or summer for sure. Easygoing body, crisp, light and drinkable, very simple with no off flavors at all. Honey, crackers, and hay are the key flavor components. As another reviewer noted, this is perfect for Kölsch fans.
An easy drinking "simple by design" session ale aimed squarely at craft novices to ease them into drinking better beer. Simplicity is underrated... obviously no one is trying to reinvent the wheel here.
Glad to see this downstate, and rumored to be hitting the west burbs of Chicago already. Nice to see a new upstart small brewer in southern Illinois, I remembered them from the Great Taste last year.

A - Cloudy orange brew with a nice three finger head. No yeast at the bottom of the bottle or in the glass. Still pretty cloudy though. Looks tasty.
S - Carrot cake, orange zest, and a whiff of spice. Very much citrus oriented.
T - Wheaty and citrusy. Lacking in yeasty/bready flavors. Sort of one-dimensional and more reminiscent of something like Shock Top. Disapointing since we got off to such a great start.
M - Very brightly carbonated with lots of citrus tang. Finishes pretty clean with a touch of lingering orange-rind bitterness.
Very drinkable, especially in hot weather. This is lacking in complexity and robustness, but for a summery brew it's pretty dang good. I like the size of the bottle too... wheat beers are meant to come in big servings! I think my wife will love this one.

To be honest, I grabbed this bottle at the liquor store because it was cheap. The saying. "You get what you pay for," applies here. The beer poured a pale yellow color with a slight head. It gave almost no aroma, which is a bad sign. My fears were realized when I discovered there was no noticeable taste. The only real flavor was a very mild straw flavor. At best this is a straw flavored ale. Wheat beers are supposed to be sweet and flavorful. This hardly qualifies as a wheat by beer ingredients only. Carbonation was light, so it fit with the watery, plain taste.

Light, pale yellow sunshine head after pour. Very thin film of foam after a few sips that doesn't last trhoughout. There is a slight haze to this straw colored brew.
Pretty simple and plain, soft banana and clove with a little Pilsner malt. Very light overall.
Adjuncty upfront and a little on the finish. The middle has some faint toasted Pilsner malt flavors of crackers, and maybe some Earthy hop notes. Simple, easy.
The palate is wet, and a little bubbly. Simple and drinkable, but not worth recommending to friends.

Served in a Chicago Bears shaker pint glass.
Figured I'd work my way through this brewery's entire portfolio, seeing as I was halfway there anyway. This bit pours a lightly hazy pale canary topped by a finger of white foam. The nose comprises toasted wheat and puffed rice. Nothing else. Hm. Not a good start. The taste holds notes of bad wheat, light vinyl, puffed rice, light char, dark greens, and lemon peel. The body is pretty light, with a light moderate carbonation and a slightly water feel. Overall, the best thing this beer has going for it is its simplicity. Unfortunately, that involves being simply bad. I'm not at all a fan of this stuff.

OK, so I spelled it wrong...it's KinKaid, with a "K"...
Hard to believe I'm in the last 20 days of this...wow...
This was an extra in a trade from most gracious trader GraniteSkunk...Cheers mate!!
The basics: no idea on price and a low 4.3% ABV....Let's hope it's flavorful...
Pours a cloudy lemon yellow, pale lemon at that. Sparse lacing and head, lightly carbonated...Sort of "mehh" thus far...
The smell is a bit of a disappointment: it has BMC written all over it. I get a lot of wheat, some metallic notes...Not much else...Also some skunky stuff...
Flavor is as pale as the color. This is very thin tasting. That's too bad. I get a hint of some citrusy tang, but it's fleeting. Middle is nondescript save from some bread yeast notes, these are also fleeting. Finish is a bit watery...This beer isn't worth tracking down. If it's priced at around the $1/12 oz. bottle range it's probably fine...any more than that though and it's not worth it...
What I like most: The nice color.
What I like least: Pretty much everything else.
Verdict: Thin and nondescript. Go elsewhere...

Pours a brilliant golden yellow with a small white head and smells thin (almost nothing) with a slight hint of malts. Mouth is a little thin and bitter, with faint lemon, pepper and grassy notes surrounding a very crisp carbonation. Poor flavor, poor execution. I agree with jsh420, Bud has more flavor than this.

pours cloudy watery yellow with a 1/2 finger fizzy white head
smells like absolutely nothing - maybe a touch of pale malts
taste - why even bother if this is what you are going to turn out - a huge watered down mess
mouthfeel is worse then carbonated water? how is that possible
drinkability - big surprise is a huge 1 - this beer has less flavor then bid select 55

Pours a hazy, pale yellow color. 1/5 inch head of a white color. Slight retention and slight lacing. Smells of yeast, pale malt, and grain. Fits the style of an American Pale Wheat Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp with an average carbonation level. Tastes of yeast, wheat, and slight pale malt. Overall, a very simple flavor with sub par aroma and appearance.

Poured from bomber into New Belg. tulip glass a clear light gold with a quick falling white head.
Aroma emits an initial low sulfur note (typical of yeast blend used by brewer) This quickly off gasses and moderate sweet 2 row or Pils malt with a Saaz like low hop aroma follows.
Flavor is sweet at front but well attenuated with Nobel like hops that clean and linger a bit @ 17 IBUs.
Mouthfeel is short of creamy and the carbonation seems a bit low for a wheat ( 25% of grist according to brewer)
The beer has a significant amount of yeast sediment which when swirled softened the hop bitterness and gives a yeasty "wheat character"
Very solid beer that has a nice drinkabIility. I was a little surprised that head retention was not better perhaps my bottle was not fully carbonated. A second pour in another glass gave a similar head.
A clean refreshing wheat that drinks similar to a Kolsch with a bit more hops.
