Had this at the Houston Flying Saucer during their 10th birthday party.
A - Poured a copper color with an off white head
S - Has an oaky vanilla nose with mild whiskey and hops
T - Very good like the nose the oak and vanilla come out then a hint of whiskey complements the citrus hop finish
M - This beer has a medium body with medium carbonation to it
D - This is a very good beer this is how barrel aging should be the whiskey worked perfectly with the beer not overpowering it I could definitely drink too much of this in a sitting if you ever see this don't even think about it just get one

A: The pour is a slightly hazed gold color with a minimal off-white head.
S: The nose is still surprisingly hoppy with notes of citrus. The
-bal is definitely present, giving a vanilla, oak, and slight whiskey aroma.
T: The flavor is quite similar to the nose (as you might expect). A slight bitterness along with doses of citrus provide the IPA feel to this beer while the whiskey and vanilla stand out as well.
M: The body is medium with a carbonation that is on the low end of medium.
D: This is one of the first IPAs that have been barrel aged that I actually enjoyed. A nice balance of the IPA character with the wood.
