A: Straw yellow in color, hazy, with a fairly large white head. Loads and loads of carbonation. The side of the glass has lots of carbonation bubbles stuck to it, and the beer looks like an upside-down waterfall of CO2 bubbles. Not much lacing, just some small patches of bubbles.

S: I get some fruity scents that smell mostly like oranges. It's very faint.

T: The thing that pops out the most is what I would surmise is agave. It's a fruit-like flavor that is slightly sharp then mellows out. The wheat follows up in the aftertaste. The fruit flavor quickly becomes forgettable while drinking and fades away in the palate, leaving a mediocre wheat beer in its place.

M: The mouthfeel is fairly smooth and creamy, with a brightness of carbonation. It is filling and refreshing.

O: Overall I thought it was a pretty good beer, but nothing to jump up and take notice of. I would have preferred a stronger wheat beer with a more robust wheat flavor to compliment the agave character. I probably wouldn't drink it again.

A- murky golden amber with a thin white head and some little swirls and spots of lace.

S- standard APWA aroma, notes of bread and citrus with a bit of earthy yeast.

T- I remember back in the late 90's snapple had a line of clear beverages in a tall bottle called "rain" or something like that. One of the flavors was agave and I really liked it. I feel like I can taste a bit of that tangy fruitiness in here, but I may be fooling myself. Bready with banana yeast and a lasting sweetness which could be agave nectar.

MF- expansive in the mouth with wheat proteins. Fully carbonated. Not really all that refreshing.

D- mostly dull and boring. I'm sure more could be done to enhance the agave-ness or why bother having it in there at all?

Tannish yellow and slightly cloudy, fairly good head to start but dissipates after a bit, lacing is pretty sparse.

Aroma is typically wheat beer, with some grass, some hay, some light yeast.

Taste is again pretty wheat beer oriented. If I didn't know it had agave in it, I wouldn't have guessed. There's a sweetness tho that might be coming from the agave. Also a good wheat malt backbone and a good light citrusy hop presence to balance it out.

Body is pretty easy drinking, yet a bit thick and chewy like a good wheat beer should be. Carbonation is light and there's a slight slickness to the feel.

Overall it's an easy drinking summer beer, nothing world class going on but as far as agave beers go, this is probably the best one I've had.

Breckinridge agave wheat. Served on tap as the special at Morris Tap and Grill. Pours Light bronzed. On the darker side. Good head of foam. Peppery nose, spices. Light wheat taste. Tequila hint. Citrus in there too. Interesting. Nice summer beer. 4 375 4 375 375

Pours with 1/4 inch or less head, nice unfiltered yellowish. Has a hint of citrus but not very strong aroma. A little dry with citrus bite in first sip; should be great on a hot summer day. Not sure if the agave adds sweetness or what to the flavor. Some aftertaste but I have had more from lemonade or tea. Not a bad unfiltered wheat just not all that memorable.
