Appearance: 12oz bottle with a bottling date of February 2008. Pours dark amber color with two fingers of head. The head dies down quickly to a thin fine covering of the beer.
Smell: Sweet malt, dried fruit and a slight earthy hops note.
Taste: Sweet malts and candied/ dried fruit flavors. Earthy notes as well. No aftertaste from this beer.
Mouthfeel: Very little carbonation, and a thin mouthfeel. This beer leaves the mouth feeling extremely clean.
Drinkability: This beer is very drinkable, and it does not dominate or kill any parts of the pallet, so it would be a great session beer or great in a style tasting.

I bought this at Binny's as part of a build-your-own six pack for $9.99, making it $1.67 for a single 12oz bottle. No freshness date.
Pours a clear amber/red color with just a half-finger of white head, but despite the small head it left a decent amount of lacing.
Hardly any smell to this. You have to swirl it around in the glass pretty hard to coax a little malt, sweet caramel, and floral hops out of it.
More caramel malt than anything else, making it a tad sweet. Hops are more floral than bitter as it only has 19 IBU's to it. Not really much to this but it's still tasty in a simple kind of way.
Very thin body, almost watery, with moderate carbonation.
Nothing stands out but there's nothing bad either. Very drinkable.
