12oz Bottle from the Potsdam NY IGA for 3.65$

Appearance - Clear copper colour with an average size fizzy light beige coloured head. There is a low amount of carbonation and there is some good lacing. The head lasted for around 5 minutes.

Smell - Malts, caramel, hops, grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine

Taste & Mouth - There is an average amount of carbonation and I can taste hops, malts, and caramel. There is also a some grapefruit, apricot, and lots of pineapple. It ends with a sweet tropical fruit aftertaste with a medium amount of hoppy bitterness.

Overall - This beer is just a few small changes away from being fantastic. There is something a little too artificial in the taste, but it's still a very good DIPA. Well worth trying once at least.

Breckenridge 471 Small Batch Double IPA has a medium, creamy, off-white head and a brilliant, bright orange appearance, with heavy lacing and lots of streaming bubbles. The aroma is very fruity- like tangerine, to me, and sweet. Taste is the same with medium-roasted malt, white bread, sugar, pleasant, citrusy, hop bitterness, and no off flavors. One would never guess that it was 9.2% alcohol or that it was a 70 IBU ale. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy and slick, and 471 Small Batch finishes mostly dry, sweet, easy drinking, and delicious. Overall, this is a most excellent beer, and I highly recommend it!
