I'm really diggin on these Hy-Vee's on the Illinois side of the river. They sell Founders, they sell Dark Horse, they sell New Holland. All those good Michigan beers I can't get in Iowa. Few days after KBS release 2011, I called every Hy-Vee on the IL side of the Quad Cities, and this was the last one...and the only one to get any KBS. 2 cases in...interesting. I jumped in my car and head over immediately. I was the 11th person to get a 4 pack, so there was one left behind me. It was nice that they sold four packs, instead of bottles, I dont think the demand was quite as high here as in Chicago.

Good selection of bombers and singles. I will stop here again when traveling on the 80 towards the Windy City.

Stopped in here on the way to DLD. Just over the state line, off the 80, so that kind of helps the atmosphere of an otherwise, drug store.
Good selection of stuff, founders, dark horse, goose island. Almost all of it is refrigerated.

Prices were respectable, I blew a decent chunk of money in here, but I also walked out with a ton of beer. There was some dust on some lesser bottles that weren't in the cooler, but given that they were less than desireable in the first place, I can understand why they accumulated dust.

They don't have any rarities or whatnot, so if that is what floats your boat, don't worry about going here, but if you're from out of the area, it is a very convenient stop while traveling down 80.
