I stop here quite frequently to pick up a 6 pack or a few bombers.
Usually a great selection of beers. Some hard to find and some local favorites. Always seem to have Founders BS and a good selection of Victory beers. Some occasional rarieties like Port's Older Viscosity and just recently had 2 different AleSmith's, WeeHeavy and HornyDevil.
Overall if you are looking for a nice selection of 6 and 4 packs or a nice selection of bombers, this Wegmans is the place to go. Can always find something here to satisfy!

Well, I reviewed Downingtown and Malvern, so might as well do this one, too since its identical to Malvern.
A - Its a grocery store with a "pub" in it. Nice concept, but provides a rather stale atmosphere while sitting at the bar.
Q/S/S - Their food and beer selection is all good quality, and a step up from the Downingtown location. Similar to other Wegman's in the area, they don't get any of the super limited release stuff, but they do have a great selection from American and world wide breweries. Service leaves something to be desired. They usually have some grunt stocking the shelves that never seem to know anything about the beers or recent shipments, but I like how they are always eager to help you out, and willing to check the stock room for you.
Overall, its a nice store with a good selection. Better then the Downingtown location since it has a huge refrigerated section, wider aisles, and a pub. The food at the bar is average at best.

I knew there was a Wegmans in Collegeville. I was visiting my girlfriend this weekend, and we decided to go to pick up some food for the weekend...of course, I ran into the beer shop, and my mind was blown.
Much bigger than the selection in both Mechanicsburg and Downington, and the selection was much more diverse too. They had a couple of the large format SA bottles which I was looking for, some Breakfast Stout, a full selection of Sixpoint....just tons and tons of beer from all across the country, at reasonable prices. We went back the next day just to see if they restocked, and they did, netting me some Infinium (yay, even if it is awful!) and Blackout Stout.
I wasn't approached by any employees, but the staff members who rang me out were very helpful. They also have a pub that does growler fills, though I didn't explore this at all. As for food, they have a lot of prepared food that you can eat (as well as drink your new beer) on the premises. Always very tasty. Definitely worth a stop every time I'm in town from here on out.

Stopped in on my way up 422 to a family get together. Having been to the Wegman's Pub in Malvern, I was familiar with the concept. The setup was similar to the Malvern location as was the selection.
The biggest bonus of visiting on a Saturday was that a representative of the nearby Sly Fox Brewery was on hand sampling their products. There was a sign in the pub that showed that there are often events and tastings on Saturday afternoons, so that would be a good time to visit.
I walked out with bottles of SN Celebration, Sly Fox Christmas Ale, Fuller's 2010 Vintage Ale and a six pack of Great Lakes Christmas Ale. Not a bad haul for a quick visit. All in all, Wegman's provides a nice selection of craft beers at reasonable prices. I'll stop in every time I'm in the area.

stopped by there for the first time and was pretty impressed. they had a pretty nice selection of craft beer, in the special section next to the Cafe. they have the selection divided into sections of "local micro", "west coast micro", "germany", "belgium", etc. good organization.
prices seemed very good, they seemed on par with prices down at Total Wine in Delaware, which is usually the cheapest I see.
You need to purchase the beer at special registers.
downsides would be that they have basically the same beers both warm and cold, and could increase their selection by mixing those up. and since it's technically a "bar" with carryout, you are limited to I believe 192 ounces of beer per transaction.

My wife mentioned this place after recently beginning to do the grocery shopping at Wegman's. She told me that they had a very impressive selection of brews. I had my suspicions, but she knows the beer geek that I am and she knows good selections when she sees them.
We actually went there last week and I must say I was pretty impressed by the selection they had overall. Not the best by a long shot, but you can definitely see that the buyer knows that microbrew selections are an absolute must. Great Divide, Victory, Weyerbacher, and many more including some nice individual big bottle selections (Belgians and more micros). the taxes are already built into the price, so what you see on the pricetag, is what you'll be paying. That last thing is huge - the brews are all clearly labeled - freakin' awesome!!
Impressive selection overall. I guess they can do this becuae they have a restaurant there? The restaurant seems to be pretty good too. As I was picking up a Great Divide (Brewmaster's collection) 12 pack, the lady in line behind me had some really good smelling food from the restaurant.

Stopped by the new Wegman's last weekend and came away impressed. When compared to other local Wegman's (namley Downingtown) they have a much larger and diverse selection. There are four small aisles of beer along with a wrap around refrigeration unit about the outside of the aisles.
In terms of pricing, the majority of items were reasonable and consistent with other local stores, but there were certain items which struck me as bargains (namely Lost Abbey 750mls for < $9).
When I visited the store was very crowded, but the staff seemed to do a very good job of keeping the stocks shelved.
By biggest complaint was lack of organization which I hope comes as they perfect their operation.
Overall, this a is very welcome addition to the area and a place that I'll likely frequent going forward.

I was pleasantly surprised when i went into the Collegeville Wegmans and saw their selection and most importantly their prices. Most of the six packs are $1.00-$2.00 cheaper then most other places i've been. No real rarities but a huge selection from all over the world. It's about a 20 minute drive from my house but its worth it in my opinion.
The bar and restaurant were nice looking and packed with people when i was there. I didn't eat anything so i can't review that part of Wegmans. This review is for their beer selection.
The Collegeville Wegmans definitely has a much bigger selection then Warrington.
