This place is easy to miss, but try not to, if only to try out the beer selection. We went on a Thursday off-season earlier tonight. We arrived at 545pm or so and it wasn't busy, and never got overwhelmed during our stay. We had an app amongst our beer offerings and the waitress understood we were in for the long haul (in no hurry).
The draft selection was appx 10-12 beers, with about 30-40 bottle and can offerings. The selection was pretty good, and although they did offer a few BMC, and a few local beers (always a plus in my mind) the range of others was really good. Yes, they had some DFH, but also imports and other craft beers. We easily found options we hadn't had before.
The food was decent but nothing overly special, even though we only ordered an appetizer and shared a sandwich. We filled our curiosity with 4 oz pours on a few beers, and found a few beers we want to have again (and again) . It was nice as we slowly tried our beers that our waitress adjusted and visited us as our beer got low. Funny that it appeared the "beer manager" was around and approving of our choices (or so our waitress indicated).
The reason to come here is beer options, for sure (I was drooling over the kegs I saw that had yet to be tapped). The food was totally enjoyable, and the service was pretty darn good. We were in the restaurant, but I did notice the bar area was a bit small, and the 2 TVs weren't offering much, if i were looking for downsides.

It’s on RT 1 so you don’t have to deal with the headache of going into downtown Rehoboth. It’s tucked in a strip mall that has plenty of parking. The food is nothing special but they do have some fun and creative dishes. I have never had a bad meal, but never a great one either. They have a very nice beer list of not just local stuff. I prefer this over going into down town Rehoboth any day. I would say go here for lunch, DFH if you wanted to try a brew pub exclusive, and Pig and Fish (sister restaurant with more creative and higher end food)

Popped in here real quick after a recent trip to Dogfish Head. It seemed a pretty decent place, nestled innocently in a small strip mall adjacent to a Burger King. You pass by a small seating area to get to the bar, which seats maybe 12-15 people. Simple decor on the walls, somewhat dimly lit, TVs, a large chalkboard displaying what's on tap. There was a decent selection on tap--about 10 to choose from--and the beer list tempted us with stuff that was in the pipeline but not on yet, and it that's not enough for you, there is a pretty nice bottle selection as well. Small pour option is always good. We had eaten earlier, but we sampled a few small items for a snack, and every thing was good. Our bartender was friendly and on the ball, so no complaints about the service.
Our visit was short but sweet, and I would like to go back here for a full session, but on the rare occasions we go to Rehoboth Beach, it's always for the DFH brewpub, so...

Pretty good place in an interesting location; near the outlets! So let your wife or girlfriend or husband or boyfriend shop while you can try great craft beers.
Aside from rotating Dogfish Head taps, they get a great regional selection as well. I have had some interesting Evolution stuff, Troegs, and Victory there (St. Victorious was great on tap).
The food is solid there as well. I can't name anything specific, but I like it.
Also, Jerry the bartender is great, and always happy to chat you up.
Thursday's they run beers through Randall and they can get creative.

Stopped here for lunch on my trip out to Dogfish Head recently. Nice clean interior, this place is more a restaurant than a bar, though there is a small bar in the back.
The tap list was ok, but I guess I was expecting more local/regional stuff than they had, and at least a little variety. 95% of the beers were spiced/wheat spring seasonals or light Belgian styles. I also remember not getting an actual list from our server, we had to go look at a chalkboard or something clear across the room near the bar. It appeared bottles were available but no list was to be found here.
The menu looked promising. I got a sandwich with multiple kinds of pork on it. It was good but too large and greasy to want to stay to continue drinking.
Overall definitely not a bad stop, but I'd prefer to just hang at DFH all weekend over this place to be honest.

My go to beer bar. The Pickled Pig doesn't look like much from the outside, but it may be the best beer bar in Southern Delaware. With a large rotating tap list and pretty extensive bottle list, there is usually something on tap I have no had before. There is always something local on from either Evolution or DFH, and they also have a Randall that is used on Thursdays. They post their tap list on their website and typically update it when a new beer is put on.
The staff is quite knowledgeable and know a good amount of information about all of the beers on tap and have no problem giving suggestions or letting you sample something before ordering it.
The food is also pretty good, have had the burgers, fish tacos, and the chicken sandwich.
My only worry is that the prices have seemed to increase a good bit over the last few months, almost to the point where ordering a pint is too expensive to go. Hopefully this will not continue, as the Pig is my favorite place to grab a beer.

Wanted to grab a pint or two after a round of golf and I heard this place had a good selection. It is located in a strip mall off Route 1 Southbound, just before Route 24. The place itself is not large, as there are a handful of tables in the front of the place, and the bar is located in the back by the kitchen.
The bar was a smallish squared-U shaped area that could seat about 12 patrons. TVs are behind the bar and a large blackboard with the latest listing of beers on tap can't be missed.
There were 15 beers on tap and covered a nice range of styles. Several DFH beers - Palo Santo Marron, Red & Black, Hellbound, Indian Brown, and 60 Minutes were on with Twin Lakes Greenville Pale Ale and Tweeds Stout, Saison Dupont, Victory Headwaters, RJ Rockers Fish Paralyzer, Old Dominion Oak Barrel Stout, Ommegang Hennepin, Miller Lite, and Newcastle. There is also a large bottle list probably upwards of 50 beers.
The food was very good as we had the daily special turtle soup, the pretzels appetizer, and the fish tacos which could really be an entree they were so big. The food that others were eating at the bar also looked great.
For anyone travelling to Rehoboth Beach area, this is a must stop for good food and beer. They brag about the best beer selection in Delaware, and I would have to agree.

I absolutly love this place!! I have been back several times and have coined it my new Thursday Headquarters. The atmosphere is really well put together with a lining around the ceilings of all the past tap heads they have, and neat paintings that have a green pickle in them with a black and white backround. Service and knowledge of the staff is top notch. The bartender knows a ridiculous amount of information on all the beers they offer with a weekly updaated "beer Board" that changes constantly. Their selection never dissapoints when it comes to beers and love that they offer tastings and smaller less expensive pours for a chance at trying more beers with less of a hammered effect. The food is exceptional for the price and the specials are always great. I personaly recomend their appetizer fish tacos which are out of this world. To call this an app is a slap in the face to all other appetizers. Two enormous freshly battered fish tacos with a little zip from jalapenos and pickled onions. Another winner in the bacon jam and bleu burger. Sinful and wonderful combo of a giant fresh burger and shoestring fries that are addictive. I also recomend going to one of the monthly beer dinners which comprises of a 5 coarse meal and beer pairings for only $40. All in all this is my newly found utopia and I plan on spending lots of time there.

Had dinner there tonight. Great atmosphere, great food, better beer. They had a great selection of locals as well as other fairly rare micros, and a couple Belgians. The food was great (I got the Cuban and pretzels), but they didn't have any vegetarian options. They also do 4 oz pours of beers so you can sample a couple if you don't want to pick just one. Prices weren't terrible, but were a little on the expensive side for what you get. The fries were great too! The website seemed to be pretty updated. Surprisingly good place in the middle of the outlets...

First time there, I dropped the wife off at the Ann Taylor outlet and said take your time. Went to the Pub. Great selection all around. I love that you can buy 4oz samples for about $2.50. They had DFH Bitches Brew, Evolution, no 16 mile on tap though. Love the rotating beer list. I'll go back, even encourage my wife to shop more, perhaps she will go when I am a bit hungrier so I can try the food. Owned by the people who run Pig and Fish in Rehoboth and they have very good food. Their cheese boards look really good so that is a must try.
