I go to Mr. Tramps from time to time for the Austin Game Developers get together, as well as to partake in the odd cigar on their patio.
Overall this place has a good vibe; it's a bit of a soccer bar, and being a fan it's a good place to take in a game and enjoy a beer. The food is fairly standard pub-fare but with a bit more finesse than you see in other places; i've eaten there a few times and never been disappointed.
Beer selection is good, but not great. Given the new standard (30+ taps being the average for a good beer place!) they hit it pretty well. They also have some interesting, and hard to find taps like actual German Kolsch which is a great choice for the Austin heat. They've got a good Texas selection and decent West Coast/Colorado/Oregon choices. Folks here are also very nice and service is solid.

Mr. Tramp's advertises itself as a 'european sports bar'. there are a few tables outside on the patio, and a large party room with football being projected on the wall. the bartenders were attentive once i was able to work my way into the bar area. i didn't wait long, though.
once i got to the bar, i ordered an Old Rasputin, which was served to me in a snifter. not unreasonably expensive-only $6. They had a few other good beers on tap, 512 Pecan, Lagunitas IPA, NB Ranger, Delerium Tremens, Live Oak Hefe, 90 minute, and Old Chub, as well as a few other decent beers.
the staff was able to get to my table a few times to check up on me.
it's not a bad place to drink. there's much better beer at a better price in the vicinity, but if you're in the area, it's worth a try.

this is kinda like a regular sports bar but with a twist and a little extra oomph.
the sports theme is loosely based around european soccer. several large tvs have been playing soccer games every time i have been.
the quality of the beer is worth knowing about but not worth going out of your way for. 31 taps, and all are year round and only a few could be considered uncommon to see on tap. the nicer beer selection compliments the nicer food and not a beer crowd. they do have beer specials which sound good but i just havent gotten around to checking out.
service is just what youd expect from a restaraunt/sports bar.
the food is great. not much that you wouldnt find anywhere else but every single dish has an awesome twist or is just served better than other places i have seen. the cook is awesome (had a pint one night at the draught house) and all the staff cares greatly about their establishment.
definately worth a pop in if youre in the 183 and peyton gin area and looking for some good grub and a place that can satisfy your desire for better than standard beers.
