Overall a great selection of beer, normally a low key atmosphere, a little rowdy in the evenings on the weekends. The prices are the highest around as far as craft beer goes which is a bummer, but since its so close to where students live you can find limited releases longer. mainly because not many college kids are buying 12 dollar six packs.

The Village Markett in East Lansing is a great one stop shop in a tailgaiting college town. It recently underwent a management change and was remodeled. This cut the actual store size in half, but the selection of beer, wine, and liquor went up exponentially.
The beer selection is pretty good, always increasing stock and variety. They have a great selection of Michigan microbrews and international beers. The newly added mix and match 6-pack section is a nice touch. The liquor selection is exceptional, better than most in the area.
The staff is pretty knowledgeable when it comes to the beer and liquor in the store. The prices are a little high, but not overly expensive when you factor in the convenience that they provide.
The big screen TVs are a nice touch so you don't have to miss any of the game during your beer run. Overall, shopping at the Village Markett is a good experience.

This was a normal grociery store just a few months ago, but some new management took over and it has become a party store. It looks nice, alot better than most of the beer stores in the area.
The selection is less than some other stores in the area, like Big Ten but everytime I go in there, they seem to have added some more beers. They seem to tilt towards the Michigan beers, they're even all sectioned together in the middle of the make your own six pack section.
Service is above average, most of the time they have a beerguy or two that know thier stuff, but the rest tend to stay behind the counter.
Lastly, like most smaller stores it is a bit pricely especially in the make your own six pack, which is done by the bottle price.
But all in all one of the better stores in the area.
