another one that i've held onto for far too long. thanks again mike for always hooking up the NC locals!
a - popped the bottle and filled my capt lawrence taster tulip. nice soft transparent golden yellow. very thin bubbly head that fizzled away leaving a ring around the surface of the brew. sparse visible carbonation.
s - zesty...crisp. vanilla. coconut. coconut is actually rather up front and dominating. orange peel. somewhat unique.
t - not bad. all the usual suspects, but leads with orange. hop presence is very light.
m - soft subtle smooth. orange after feel.
o - overall decent. pretty orange heavy all around.

A: Pours a very cloudy pale straw yellow in color with some light amounts of golden yellow highlights and a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. The beer has a finger tall sudsy white head that rather quickly reduces to a couple of small patches of medium thickness medium bubbles, a very thin film covering the entire surface of the beer, and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of wheat, citrus (lemon and orange peel), and some lighter notes of spices (maybe coriander). There is also a light to moderate amount of fruitiness and yeast.
T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor of wheat with some lighter notes of spices (coriander). There are light to moderate flavors of lemon citrus and orange peel with a light amount of fruitiness (maybe apple). The yeast gives a flavor to the beer that is not dissimilar to that of paste (the kind that you used in elementary school and some kids were always eating).
M: Just heavier than light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.
O: This beer was super easy to drink with the light body and the refreshing flavors - definitely sessionable. This is a very enjoyable offering from a newer brewery to the NC scene (and one of the few in Eastern NC).
