Weak ass yellow and soapy appearance, clarity was really fucked on this one. Neutral aroma.

Wow there is something weird I suspect going on, what a weird yeast flavor profile. Estery, bitter, coppery. No malt or hop flavors discernable. Screw this beer, at least it costs less than 50 cents a can.

Yeah. I'll just pass by all this Russian River stuff and pick up a can of beer that actually says "light lager" on it. It also says "Original. Genuine." As if there was any doubt.

Smells nasty. Was all horrid at first and then switched to a malty sweet thing. Flavor is...atrocious. I have nothing positive to say. This beer wouldn't even be okay as an absolute last resort. I wish the can was still unopened so that I could use it for target practice with a shotgun...or a SAB (surface to beer) missile.

A: Pours a crystal clear straw to pale golden yellow in color with light amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a finger tall bright white head that reduces to a thick film covering the entire surface of the beer with a thicker ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of adjunct malts with a fair amount of corn sweetness along with lighter hints of lemon and grassy hops.

T: The taste of this beer is similar to the smell with a strong adjunct malt body with hints of corn sweetness. There are also light notes of lemon, fruit sweetness (likely from the yeast), and grassy hops. There is a very light bitterness to the beer.

M: Light bodied with heavy amounts of carbonation. Crisp and slightly dry in the finish.

O: This beer is refreshing, easy to drink, and very sessionable. I tasted it both from the can and poured into a glass and have to say I preferred it directly from the can. You could easily drink this beer all afternoon long and I think it is better than the BMC alternatives in the style.

Pour from a bit above the glass gave this clear light golden colored beer a big white head the quickly died into average at best lacing.

A light sour soapy lemon citrus nose with i think a yeast strain adding depth to the aroma.

The light sour from the nose is even more present in the taste, sour lemon and light yeast with a hint of hops bitterness.

A light dry aftertaste with just a hint of the sour lemon hanging around.

A good beer pong beer but not good for much else, but the price is right.

Pretty much the average Bud Light/Coors Light/MGD imitator.

Well when you roll into Whole Foods and you see a 12pack of beer for only $3.99, it really doesn't hurt the chances of trying something new. Plus, i seem to have lots of beer mooches around me, so at worst, I'll have some beers to pawn off if I don't like them.

Pours a thin soapy yellow appearance. Lots of haze for something so thin. Smell was okay, nothing special.

Taste, ugh, what a weird lager yeast strain, it is actually pretty pungent, almost like a belgian strain and a fruity lager at the same time. Really dominates the taste, since there isn't much if anything in the way of hops or malt in the beer. A weird copper butterscotch type of thing going on.

Overall it was cheap, but it didn't taste good.

Copper Bell Light has a thick, soapy, stark-white head and a very clear, pale straw appearance, with a few streaming bubbles and a touch of lacing left on the glass. The aroma is sweet, grainy, and surprisingly, sort of nice. Taste is light, of course, but one gets sweetness, barley, clean water, and just the slightest hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is thin and watery, and Copper Bell Light finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and dry. For what it is, it’s not bad.

as light beers go, this is a good one, but it's still just a very basic, decent beer.

Pale gold, it has a medium white head quickly thinning to a foamy ring and then nothing eventually. It doesn't look as good as the Copper Bell "Lager Beer."

Aroma is light, soapy-metallic grain and grass, but fairly pleasant.

Taste is light, one-dimensional sweet, musty grain with hint of lemon and aftertaste of creamed rice. It is thinner, blander, and lighter than the Copper Bell "Lager Beer" and when compared to "Original" Schlitz it has almost no flavour at all. However, if a "light beer," this is pretty good.

Pours a pale gold with a 1/2" of fizzy head that quickly fades. Smells sweet and metallic. The taste is like the smell; apple sweetness with a metallic finish. This is really a fruity and offensive flavor. Mouthfeel is typical light, crisp, smooth.

This is awful. The regular version is OK, but this isn't even worth the $7 for a 12 pack.

It would be easy to just give this beer an F and rail on it. After all it's a lager, it's in a can, it's a light beer, and it's extremely cheap. What's there not to hate?

I only purchased this for use in cooking some sausages so when I had half a can left I decided to try it and I liked it more than I thought. I didn't like it, per se, but it had more flavor than I'd thought it would.

In the realm of cheap, light, lager beer it's not half bad. Judged on that scale it's decent. But if you're someone that likes to spend more for two bottles of beer than this costs for twelve cans then this will not be the beer for you.

Judged in its own class it's decent. There has to be a market for this level of beer as there are plenty of folks who drink this type of beer regularly. For this price/style combination you could do a lot worse.

Poured from can into a pint glass. Very light colored with no head head. Looks very fizzy and carbonated. Smells like watered down urine. Tastes like the smell but worse. Feels like overly carbonated water. Drain poured after consuming 1/4 of can. I realize this is a light lager, but this was awful.

12 oz can. No canning dates.

Clear, straw yellow body. Quite a bit of bone white head. Settles down to a thin cover. Slight lacing.

Aromas of sweet corn, adjunct lager grain aromas. Some cooked veggies, but not too bad. Touch of spice and floral hops.

Vague sweetness at first. Non-assertive cereal grains. Pretty thin body. Creamy, with a lite bite from the carbonation. Very slight citric twinge from the hops.

Not challenging at all, and actually tastes better out of the can then in a glass. This is a good beer if you need something to drink all day. Easy to drink, and does not give you a buzz. That's the nicest thing I can say about this.
