I just couldn't resist when I was in Walgreens today I saw this beer and never thought Walgreens would have something other than BMC so I picked it up even though at 2.99 a six pack I was assuming the worst thinking that there is no way that it will be good. Well, since I myself am new on the craft beer scene and only 6 months removed from BMC when I was finally awakened to a whole new world I will attempt a review.
A-very clear pale yellow that actually had 3 finger head and retained about an 1/8' til the bottom of the glass with a decent amount of lacing
S-Trying to remember vs BMC I would say less corn smell but it is there
T-not much, but that was to be expected from a light beer for $2.99 a six pack king of like water that has had some corn sitting in it for a while
M-thin carbonated water
O-A lot like any of the light beers from BMC. Rating it as a light beer I would say average (C), rating it vs BMC I would say maybe a little better flavor (B+) as a craft beer full of flavor of course it would be an (F) but for what it is it is not terrible maybe I can use it as a gateway beer to make some friends turn away from the lite.

This is the light version of the Walgreen's beer. Picked up a 6-pack of cans for $2.99
A: This beer is a really, really clear yellow. Almost like water, but not quite there. There is a bit of a fizzy head, but it goes away quick.
S: Again, typical for the style. The slightest amount of hops and lots of cereal grain.
T: There is the obvious cereal grain and adjunct flavor, but there is a nice, slight hop flavor that adds a good dash of floral bitterness. Slightly sweet lemon flavor on the way down.
M: This beer is made to go down quick. Light body, very fizzy.
O: This is better than any of the BMC light offerings, in my opinion. The bittering hops are used quite effectively to balance out some of the shitty cheap ingredients. If you must buy some type of light lager and you live near a Walgreen's, try this one out.

This is much better than Big Flats "heavy". The regular version was pretty skunky. The Light goes down with much less skunk. But it's mostly drinkable just because there's no real flavor, aside from a little bit of Grandpa Beer taste. Now don't get me wrong, it's not GOOD, it's just drinkable if you're really thirsty and low on cash. Kinda like Busch Light! Hey, 100 degrees out, sunn is beating down on you, you're super thirsty for something wet and cold, and you're looking to drink a lot....that's where this beer comes in!

This is a CANQuest (TM) CAN to stand for all of its brethren. You CAN bet that if it sold at Walgreen's, it has got to be solid.
I really loved the grey shades of the Light CAN as opposed to the bright red, white, and blue of the original. I felt as though I were back on the deck of a haze grey and underway cruiser.
Yo, hit dat and hit it hard! The Crack alone released a cloud of corn that got the local hens and pigs spinning around in anticipation of feeding time. Color was pale lemon-yellow with NE-quality clarity. Head had dissipated while I was typing. Mouthfeel was watery, not even thin, and the taste of corn was invasive. Finish was bland, boring, just what one might expect. Caveat emptor!

This beer is interesting. It's really not that bad for what it is. It just needs a bit more flavor and a little higher abv. It has a real water taste, but it does taste "premium" in the since it isn't crap like a Nat Light or anything like that. It's crisp and fairly clean, but just not much there. Sort of like someone made kool-aid and put twice the water in it. But hey, if you want to go cheap, it will do the trick and is much better than most other $3/six-pack beers.

Took (rather help him drink!) a 12 FL.OZ. 355ML. can from a 6-pack in my friend Mike's fridge. Poured from the silver can w/ a water mill into a 16oz "Bud Bowl" Pint Glass. Has no sign of a freshness date on the can.
Aroma- Grain, malt, and water. This is all that is present. Please help me if you've found differently!
Appearance- Pours a 2 finger head that dies rather fast. Has a crystal clear body and almost no color (lightest yellow possible). Leaves thick lacing on the glass though... Strange!
Flavor- Sweet malts, grain, and overly watered down taste comes through from the beginning to the end. No hops and not much else to note.
Mouthfeel- Lightest Body, Light-Medium Carbonation, Smooth, and big amount of water again... Seems this brew doesn't have much character at all.
Overall Impression- I will not be going back to this brew anytime soon... This was the only beer available while watching the Mizzou vs Texas game last night. If there was anything available to write upon this beer, I would have! For the price, I'm sure its a great deal but I will be avoiding.

Poured from a can into a pint glass.
Look – very light straw color, clear, with about two fingers’ worth of fluffy white-colored foam that dissipates somewhat slowly.
Smell – typical cereal grain beer type of smell, but tweaked a little differently, but nonetheless clearly generated for cheap mass production.
Taste – same as with the smell, it has a cereal grain type of taste, but adjusted so that it has a tinsy bit more character. Still though, very flat and boring in the taste.
Mouthfeel – not surprising that this lingers heavily on the watery side. Almost a stale type of feel to it.
Overall – generally very typical of these cereal grain light beers, but I do like that it has a little more character than most of them do.

I am no where near the beer guys that post here (they are 99.5 accurate) but for a light this actually taste like something....just not sure how to describe it. More flavor than the reg lights and only 2.99 a six. Worth a shot for anyone that is lookinf for a domestic light with a heavier taste than the water that comes with the good ol boys.

I got this from a local Walgreens for $2.99. I am a glutton for punishment when it comes to remarkably cheap beers.
This beer is pale yellow and a bit fizzy.
It doesn't smell like much. Adjuncts and the can it came in.
This beer may now be the worst thing I've drank. It tastes strictly of adjuncts with just enough malts to be called a beer. GROSS!
It's a watery lager. Not very drinkable, but after the 3rd the 4th wasn't nearly as bad as the first. My wife generously finished the other 2.
Buy this just so you can see how bad a beer can be.

An ultimate bargain beer, this one pours pale yellow, with a thick white head. Actually, I witnessed a fine spider web of lace around my ale glass. Believe it or not.
Nose says sweet corn, or creamed corn. Points off here.
Taste is faintly grainy, and very watery. Truly a "light" beer in every sense, this one's better than the big boys' light offerings, but not one I'm in a hurry to pick up anytime soon.
