12 oz bottle poured into pint glass.
A: two finger bright white foamy head, light golden straw color, no visible carbonation
S: light herbal aroma, grass, tea, lemon
M: on the lighter side, some carbonation feel
T: the hop character is slightly off, some burnt flavor, lemon, fresh grass
O: easy drinking, along the lines of a lawnmower beer, enjoyed on a hot day

A: Pours clear gold with plenty of carbonation visible. Very little head.
S: A little citrus and hops, and that's about it. Rather boring.
T: Tastes mostly like it smells - Citrus and some hops. Boring and unremarkable. Tastes cheap.
M: Thin with a lot of carbonation.
O: Not much of a pale ale. This just tastes like maybe a tiny step above a cheap beer. Slightly below average to average at best.

Poured from a bottle into a 12 ounce snifter
A- pours a nice amber color. Little to no head.
S- slight oaky aroma
T- bitter with a smooth aftertaste
M- a little thin for a pale ale. Very drinkable but leaves something desired
O- a decent pale ale. very easy to drink, but if you are a fan of a heavier pale ale, you may be disappointed.

Appearance: misty amber body with maybe a one finger white head that left some lacing on the glass on the first two sips.
Aroma: wow, a little pale ale like; did the Tap Room make a mistake and get this one close. A weak citrus note, a little fruity like, and not much else.
Flavors: a light citrus note, faint fruit, little bready, grassy hops, maybe herbal water
Mouthfeel: light on the delivery (thin), little citrus mid and finish, grassy on the finish, fine carbonation, light on the palate, weak aftertaste – no linger notes
To the Point: average at best; thin and weak come to mind; maybe a good introductory beer. I reviewed four beers from the Tap Room and this was their best. I would pass on any of their beers.

look: 3.5 | smell: 3 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3 | overall: 3
Appearance: Well, it looks like a pale ale. It has a very bubbly head with some surprising lacing. Lots of carbonation. Probably this beer's highlight.
Smell: Musky. As another reviewer said, I kind of get a kitchen soap aroma in there as well, now that I think about it. Maybe some grassiness. Something about it smells sort of cheap.
Taste/feel: Well... I don't know. Initially it tastes pretty decent, but then the feel/aftertaste really comes in. There's about a medium carbonation here, but the aftertaste has a -- get this -- watery taste. How? It just does. It's quite odd. I can see how this could be a good beer when you're thirsty after a hot day outside, but this really didn't even deserve to be poured into a pint glass. It's definitely much better than typical macros out there, but as far as pale ales, this one misses the mark a little bit.

Tap Room No. 21 Pale Ale
World Brews
Style: American Pale Ale (APA)
ABV: 5.30 %
LOOK: Pale orange colored brew, white soapy head forms with some lacework as well.
SMELL: Earthy, grassy, cat pee like scent from the hops. A good helping of herbal and tea like aromas eventually develop as well.
TASTE: Pale malt flavor with light toasted notes, caramel, and fresh bread. Hops are highlighted pretty well, with more herbal, grassy, faint lemon notes. Somewhat crisp and generally good tasting and drinks fairly easily. Mellow notes of malt and herbal, citrusy hop.
FEEL: Light to medium bodied, decent carbonation, but comes off a bit watery. A few of these would be good on a hot day, however.
OVERALL: Easy going pale here with no frills but also nothing out of place. Pretty standard, and there is nothing wrong with that. Give it a try.

A - pale, translucent copper with a dense, bubbly, white head that has decent retention
S - citrusy and a bit soapy
T - very faint bready malt, sweet, citrusy
M - medium bodied, smooth, well carbonated
This is a rather simple, one-dimensional offering. It's drinkable and smooth, but boring. It's cheap so I don't disappoint the six pack to hang out with friends, but I'll definitely avoid in the future.
