Starts with a decent head (more than a finger thick), but it dissipates quickly to a single layer of bubbles. A couple of spots are left on the glass side. The beer is clear with a light gold color.
Slightly sour smell of predominant malt. I give them some credit for the mild pepper hop spice in the background.
Creamy and grainy malt presence on the tongue. Less thin than most macros, but more so than micro's lagers. Very little hop flavor, but still very smooth drink. Definitely fits into the lawnmower category, but it is a decent one.

From the $0.89 bin at Orange Street Food Farm. Always worth it as a single.
This pours a very pale yellow with a decent white head. On the nose there is wet grain with a surprising presence of real, actual hops. They don't dominate but they definitely assert themselves florally. In the mouth the hops provide a fruity note mixing with some basic dough. The finish is pretty short, the body is light.
Overall, there are many, many worse pale lagers than this. The actual inclusion of hops is a well-appreciate change from the norm.

Into a pint glass (also sampled in a pilsener, no change):
A: clear golden yellow body, bubbly white head that slowly falls
S: clean fresh malts, but that's it
T: just malts, no balance
M: light, sessionable, soapy aftertaste, sweet finish saves it a bit
O: decent for the style, decent for me, had it with pizza and it was acceptable then

Bottle poured into pint glass
Appearance: The non-existant head makes this beer look like soda; sort of looks like sprite.
Smell: soft malts and citrus.
Taste: crisp malts, citrus, toffee, butter. Has a very light body, buttery mouthfeel.
Very drinkable, simple taste; this would be a great beer to have with food, or as a session beer.

This beer does not taste good. It smells and tastes like a cheap beer. It is not worth the money that a premium beer can ask. I can't think of anything good to say about this beer other than I'm hoping it will be gone soon. I've tried pawning the beer off on people and they didn't want to drink it either.

Saw this at the supermarket in 6 packs and picked it up just to try something new and different.
Seems well done for the style and overall I really liked it. Nothing spectacular, but definitely beats any macro "lager" that I've ever had the displeasure of drinking in the past.
pours a clear golden yellow topped with a tall bubbly head that raises and then slowly falls leaving behind a nice roam rim and lacing. Smells clean, fresh, and like a lager should. Taste is on key for a lager, but doesn't have anything to it to really set it off. Mouth feel was pretty good, very drinkable but a little too sweet. The drinkablility on this one is average, Id say. Its good enough that it's sessionable, however, anyone who appreciates their drinking experience would likely get sick of this after a few and want to switch to something with more of a flavor profile to it.

12oz bottle with no visible freshness information drank from an american pint glass.
A- this one pours out fizzy and golden. a very small white head forms and vanishes in a matter of seconds. little to no lacing is left behind.
S- the smell is faint. grainy cereal malts. overly sweet smelling.
T- the taste mimics the scent. cereal like grainy malts. sweeter than i was expecting. meh.
M- light bodied and as carbonated as i was anticipating.
D- not a style i typically go for or one that i really get into, but this seems on the lower end of the spectrum. i suppose it would make for a decent lawn mower beer.

12oz brown bottle with no freshness date.
Head fades quickly to pretty much nothing other than a few crackling bubbles that have freshly risen to the top. Pale yellow golden color, decent clarity. Weak malt sweetness, faint fruit and taffy as well in the nose. Good crispness, wet moderate sized body. Malt is plain, a little husky with some sweetness. Hop bitterness is there and balances, flavor comes in with an herbal note. Finishes semi-sweet.
Run of the mill lager, pretty plain even though it has more flavor than most of the mass produced industrial lagers. If it is priced more than $5.99 a six-pack then it is not worth it IMO.

I poured this average Joe beer into my tired tumbler at 45 degrees. The beer was a golden color with a white head. The head went away very fast. The smell was average beer smelling bready maybe yeasty with a sweet aftertaste. It was a pretty normal tasting beer that was not terrible but did not open your eyes and say yum either. i will not buy again.

This is the 3rd Wingwalker product I have tried. The picture is the same on every bottle, only the flight number and background color change with each variety. The lager is listed as flight:4 and comes with a blue background. No freshness date. The only other information on the bottle says "Smooth hops. Fully krausened lager"
The beer pours a medium gold color and makes a nice 2½ finger white head with good retention, but it leaves only minimal lacing.
The smell is very bready and sweet. There is also a slight alcohol aroma despite its low abv.
The taste is mainly sweet malt with only a minimal hop presence. Sweeter than most lagers but not bad.
Mouthfeel is light but I wouldn't call it watery. The high carbonation keeps it crisp and refreshing.
This is not a great lager by any means, but it is serviceable and quite drinkable.

An easy drinking lager. Definitely a small step up from your average macros, but still not very impressive. I wanted something refreshing and it definitely was that, but not much else. Very one-dimensional in terms of flavors, nothing worth mentioning really.
Extremely low ABV, so low in fact that I had three and was not even buzzed. Also wanted to report that my bottle says 4.5% rather than the 4.8% suggested. I won't completely write off a beer just because of ABV, but I won't be getting this again. Wish I would have read the reviews before picking this up at random.

Appearance- Pale, little carbonation, piss-like.
Smell- Sweet, malt, slight roasted notes.
Taste- Sweet malt, vaguely sour, watery.
Mouthfeel- Average.
Drinkability- Nothing great here. A fairly typical macro-ish lager with no really distinctive characteristics.

Sampled this one out of a six pack from City Market. The beer poured a yellow gold with nice clarity and a small head. Good retention but the lacing was intermittent. The aromas were pilsner like in a stale, European way, not appealing. The flavors were better, honey sweetness right up front followed by grainy malt and some hops. There was a metallic twinge to it I did not care for. The mouthfeel was ok but the carbonation was too high. Glad I only bought one.

too sweet. was psyched to see a wisconsin lager in maine as i grew up in the badger state surrounded by excellent semi macros (eau claire all malt; augsburger, leini's).
the brewers should have split the malt for other batches. i'm thinking a lot of refining sugar.
it's a great drink if you like goya malt beverage.

Bottle from Albertsons in Tehachapi, CA. This beer pours a clear yellow-gold color with a medium thin and bubbly white head that burns off steadily. Spotty lacing. Mild hops and stale malt aroma. Light-bodied with subtle hops and malt flavors with touches of sweet honey. The finish is short and lightly bitter. Pretty forgettable overall.

Light hop aroma with good pilsner malt backbone. Clean lager fermentation, just a little yeasty but not fruity or estery.
Goldne and clear with a very small head and nice rising carbonation around the glass. Not enough head to leave any lacing.
Starts off very sweet. Mid palate it's balanced out by bittering hops. Then it finishes sweet again. The sweetness is a little sugary but does have some pilsner malt taste. Finish is mostly clean with the lingering sweetness.
Pretty highly carbonated and fizzy. Body is appropriately light for a lager.
A pretty good representation of a lager. Unfortunately that makes it like tons of other beers with really nothing to make it stand out from the crowd,
