I was in Leavenworth for work and after nda long day of work did not feel like driving far to a Brewpub so this was the best choice. High Noon Saloon is easy to find hard to miss, I saw it before I even got on the street. The waitress was freindly but did not know any thing about the beer becase she was under legal drinking age and had not tried any of the beers, but she said that he brother brewed one of the lager, I dont remember which one. The beers had a good range of styles but none of the beers really stood out to much. I did try all the beers before I stated to eat the spicy burger. The burger was good, but a little to spicy for me. The quality of the food was good. If in the area I would stop my again for the food and to try the seasonal beers. If in the area it is worth a stop.

The resteraunt side is kind of bland, but I like the bar side. My only complaint is they seem to be more excited to promote other beers besides their own
Two of the three beers I tried were pretty good, the other definetly had a malt extract
brewing process flavor/mouthfeel to it. The wheat beer was the best of the 3 I tried
Service was so-so, looked under staffed
Selection of house beers was meh, 5 beers on offer. Reminded of many of the brew pubs I visited in the 90s (most of them are no more)
The food was pretty good. Typical bar fare for the most part, but my wife enjoyed the salmon. My ribs were not that great, my kids burgers were good
Beer & food were fairly reasonable
Would try this place again if in the area, but would not seek it out

This is my new "local watering hole." I have been with the family, but will likely be going plenty more and may have more to say down the road. First impressions are important however, so here is what I got. . . . the atmosphere is pretty good, but I entered through the bar and that had a decidedly "bar" feel about it which probably tarnished my overall feel for the atmosphere. The quality was good. The beers were all drinkable. Nothing really screamed out at me from the sampler but I do recall enjoying the stout the most. The service was good as our server was very friendly and attentive. It was reasonably busy, so her ability to stay on top of us was commendable. The food was good. My wife had a burger that she really enjoyed. I had the "fajita" meal and it was plenty of food and pretty tasty. The kids ate their kids meals and didn't leave too much behind. It was definitely kid friendly as they had high chairs, coloring pages and other such items that let a family know that their knee high members are welcome. I will be going again and have plans to take all out of town guests here. It will be a toss up as to whether to hit a BBQ joint or a beer joint first of course.

Stopped in for lunch on Saturday just after noon. They weren't as busy as I expected, but it was very hot outside. The place was clean and the air conditioning worked.
I had a brand new server. He didn't know much about the product, but was willing to get answers to my questions. He gave me good service.
Food, I had a cheeseburger and a baked potato. The burger was a run of the mill greasy burger. Flavor was good, but I rarely eat a greasy burger. The potato was hot, medium sized, and good.
Beer, I had the Stampede Stout. Ice cold, very little head, and the glass was filled to the brim. Flavor was good, smooth and very drinkable. Next I had the Annie's Amber Ale. Served cold, but not Ice cold. Moderate head, and okay. Nothing spectacular, but a good amber ale.
Prices were cheap. A cheeseburger, potato and two pints came to just over $16. I left a 20 and told the server the change was his. He was excited.
If I get back to Leavenworth, I will stop again. I will try more of the beer. I might even take a growler of the stout home.

Glad I stopped here, even though I did not have time to do it justice.
Samples, the bartender said, were $1 each for four ounce "flutes".
I grabbed four and enjoyed the diversity of a Stout, Pale Ale, Alt and Porter. The bartender then advised that it was only $3.50 for 4 samples- yes, the quantity discount!
Atmosphere is here. Funky big old building in middle America. A real community center, The Great Good Place as I have heard it called- old and young, families, pool players, cigar smokers, middle America macro drinkers alongside folks seeking good beer. In apparent harmony!
My tip off was the helpful sign on Hwy 7 showing "Brewery 2 Blocks-->"
I will check it out again.

We, Tara and I, visited High Noon a tad before 11:30 am on a Saturday morning. There were only a few people there.
We were promptly seated in the dinning area. The décor is old West Saloon meets an overly patriotic American. In other words, the décor was cowboy meats NASCAR fan, meets BMC advertising, meets American flag, meets brewpub. Odd. I wonder what the crowds are like on a busy Saturday night.
The floors were old wood planks, booths and tables were wood. The bar area was fairly big, it was in another room (it was separate from the dinning area). High ceilings were found throughout. Attached to the bar was a massive game room with arcade games, pool tables, darts, foosball, with TVs and music playing. This place might be really fun at night.
They had 9 house beers on-tap, 3 were seasonals. They also had 3 BMC beers on-tap, which is no surprise as there was tons of BMC adverting both inside and outside. What a damn shame.
I tried (and will review) the Stout (decent) and Amber Ale (okay but boring). I took a few sips from Taras Pale Ale (okay but not very hoppy). The beer was fair. They were served in chilled pint glasses. If I was in Leavenworth for some reason I might go back but I would not make a special trip here again.
The food menu was heavy on meat, lots of steaks and burgers but there was lighter fare like salads and such. I had a turkey burger, it was good but the fries were fast food quality and the mixed veggies were awful! Taras salad looked good but she said the dressing wasnt very flavorful. For the money, the food was decent.
Our waitress was friendly and attentive.
IMO, High Noon has potential but it is not realized. I was happy I finally took the time to try this brewpub but once was, most likely, enough. In most regards it is middle of the road. Still, if youre in town, stop in and give it a try.

I went here on the day after Christmas 2005 with my parents and a cousin. We ordered the sampler which consisted of Lewis & Clark Lager, Annie's Amber Ale, Rough Rider Pale Ale, Stampede Stout, Tonganoxie Honey Wheat, Oregon Trail Raspberry Wheat, Rudolph's Winter Warmer and a Belgian Trippel. My favorites were the Stout, Lager and Winter Warmer (contained cranberry, orange and brown sugar). The Tonganoxie, Annie's and Belgian were a little bitter for my taste but overall the beer wasn't bad.
The place is quite large with several rooms: a party room, the main bar, an anteroom area, a restaurant section, the brewery section and an outdoor patio. I hope to make it back in the summer or spring someday when I visit my family.

Spaciously arranged, darkly lit, sparse, functional wooden "saloon" type decor. Uniquely arranged. Laid back, fairly quiet and somewhat homely in overall atmosphere. Beer quality is consistently clean and balanced. Depending on when you are there, can consist of outstanding seasonals or a cask brew. Food is standard, meat driven, brewpub / sports bar fare, but with a comparatively (slightly) superior selection of items. Service at the bar is friendly, prompt and attentative. Overall, this place is an obscure gem worthy of a stop for a few pints if you're in Kansas. The brewer Ed is a helluva guy.

This brewpub may be the only reason to stop in Leavenworth. Nice bar-type atmosphere with a rustic theme. The food advertised is mostly steak and bbq. Didn't have time to eat but the twelve or 13 beers on tap was a very nice touch. The folks aren't too crazy about serving up more than a couple to a person, though.
